Pro rata remuneration package based on full-time equivalent value of up to $152,775 p.a. comprising salary range of $124,435 - $133,901 p.a. (full-time) or $62.75 - $67.63 p.h. (part-time) (HP4), recreational leave loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%).

About the role:
The Senior Mental Health Clinician in the Acute Care Team, Mental Health Service Group (MHSG) provides triage, assessment and consultation liaison for consumers referred by the Emergency Department at Townsville University Hospital. The position is the single point of entry into the MHSG for mental health consumers after normal business hours. This position is based in the emergency department however may be required to work across the emergency department and community environment. This position will work on rotating roster to ensure service delivery 24 hours a day 7 days a week to consumers referred by the Emergency Department.
Role requirements:
For Social Workers the successful applicant must hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification from an accredited tertiary institution in Social Work as well as eligibility for full membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
For Occupational Therapists the successful applicant must hold a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification from an accredited tertiary institution in Occupational Therapy. Registration with the Occupational Therapist Board Australia (AHPRA) is required.
For Psychologists the successful applicant must possess a four-year degree in Psychology (Honours, Graduate Diploma) from an accredited tertiary institution. Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia is required.
