About the role:

Lead. Empower. Transform. Your leadership will spearhead transformative change within Horsham Council, making us an employer of choice in the region. You're a catalyst for fostering organisational growth. Picture yourself at the helm of strategizing and implementing workforce development initiatives. You'll champion cultural change, encourage individual initiatives, and mentor teams toward mutual resolutions. You are tenacious, ready to drive new initiatives forward.

Your daily commitments:

Provide strategic leadership and counsel on developing workforce skills and capacity.
Champion cultural change through contemporary people and culture practices.
Lead the development and implementation of policies fostering a progressive work environment.

Key requirements:

Relevant degree or diploma in Human Resources or related field.
Over 5 years of experience in HR or Corporate Strategic Planning in a medium to large organisation.
Demonstrated track record in managing cultural change and organisational development initiatives.
Proven leadership at a senior management level in championing Corporate Strategic Planning, change initiatives, and business improvements.
Experience with Industrial Relations is highly regarded as this is a key part of this role.
