They are seeking a Technical Customer Consultant Team Leader with strong customer service orientation and team management skills to oversee a team of 6 customer support staff. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient and accurate technical support to users and businesses.

Role Overview:

As the Technical Customer Consultant Team Leader, you will:

• Manage a team of 6 customer support staff, addressing the joys and challenges of staff management.
• Report to a manager based in the Netherlands.
• Collaborate with local Team Leaders for ANZ (4 in total) to share information, support new project implementations, and resolve local technical issues.
• Support the suite products.
• Ensure the team systematically stays updated with product updates, fixes, and other relevant information.
• Act as the escalation point for more complex client issues.
• Liaise with overseas offices and similar teams to align on information and operating expectations for the ANZ region.
• Oversee a 5-day support operation, Monday to Friday, from approximately 7 am to 10 pm.

· Discuss the person’s interest in Melba’s services, collate and receive and review the persons supported needs, ensuring clarity through open dialogue and discussions.

Your Background (Skills and Attributes):

· A strong understanding of when and how to engage allied health or other professional expertise to ensure the health and well-being of the person supported.

· The ability to adopt communication techniques that respond to the unique needs of each person.

· High attention to detail, ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

· Quick to adapt to modern technologies, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and capacity to learn in-house database systems.

· Experience in supporting people with disabilities and their families.

· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to form effective working relationships with colleagues, management, families, and external bodies.

· Effective communication skills (language and literacy) with a demonstrated ability to maintain accurate and legible records.

· Compliance with OHS regulations, legislation, and Policies and Procedures is required. Successful completion of pre-employment safety screening checks, mandatory training, and their subsequent renewals is necessary.

The Role

We have an exciting opportunities for L2 Service Desk and Onsite Engineers to join our Melbourne and Sydney Teams! 

The Melbourne role will be based in Abbotsford and will also require travel between customer sites which are both located within Metro and regional VIC as well as phone based support work within our Abbotsford office.

The Sydney role will be based in Alexandria and will also require travel between customer sites which are both located within Metro and regional NSW as well as phone based support work within our Alexandria office. 

The successful candidates will have previous MSP experience and provide Onsite and remote Incident resolution and fulfilment of onsite desktop activities and ensure the smooth operation of IT services for our customers.

Duties include assisting remote resolver teams with activities that require physical presence, creating knowledgebase articles and process documents, reducing the volume of incidents by identifying and eliminating root cause through pro-active problem management process.  

You will also assist the projects team with deployment of new infrastructure (desk and server side) and acting as the key technical representative of bA managed services. Setup new PC’s, phones, and mobile devices as per customers' existing documented processes and carry out the Software installation of preapproved desk side software.  

2+ years of experience working within a Service Desk or Field Services role.  

Basic understanding of IT Infrastructure with some experience including networking technologies such as routers and switches (switching, routing, VLAN, WLAN, WAN, TCP/IP, Radius, VPN).  

2+ years Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and group policy experience  

2+ years experience working with a ticket management system.  

Qualifications

A valid Driver's Licence and your own transport

IT degree or Diploma

Valid Microsoft

VMWare, CISCO and ITIL certification desired but not essential.
