The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for managing complex IT projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering IT projects on time and within budget, and is looking to make their next career move into a more senior management role. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage cross-functional project teams to deliver complex IT projects on time and within budget
• Develop and manage project plans and schedules
• Identify and mitigate project risks
• Communicate project status to stakeholders
• Manage and lead 1 direct report: Project Officer
• Manage project budgets and resources
• Ensure that projects meet all quality standards
• Provide expertise and guidance to project team members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in project management
• Proven track record of successfully delivering multiple IT projects
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The Role

• Demonstrated experience in planning, setting, and managing financial budgets and financial targets.
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to problem solve.
• Knowledge of business process and functions within the different areas of the business to ensure they can meet requirements of the business. 
• Capability in leading a team to deliver exceptional care to our participants.
• Successful track record of generating growth and new business by understanding the market demands.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, other government agencies and specialist support services, both internal and external.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for motivated, positive and hardworking individuals to fill a variety of Business Development roles we currently have on offer.  You will work in the Independent Grocery space and be responsible for driving Client market share and category performance through ownership of in store promotional programs and increasing store sales results through opportunity-based selling.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be required to:

• Merchandise our clients’ product range within Independent grocery chains within your assigned area.
• Create point of sale displays, ensuring the product is well-stocked and maintained.
• Complete seasonal planograms when required
• Sell in new products and upsell all promotions
• Check stock levels for stores, liaising with store managers
• Report accurate data upon the completion of each visit

This opportunity will cover South Brisbane, Gold Coast, Warwick, Ipswich and surrounds. This Full time role is 38 hours per week across 5 days Monday - Friday, with a competitive salary package including superannuation. In addition, you will either be provided with a company car or alternatively a car allowance. 

About You

We’re on the lookout for a consumer focused Business Development Manager with an awesome attitude that can build strong relationships in the IG sector quickly! You will have high energy levels to push and motivate the team around you and accurately report on sales results via various systems.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Previous retail or merchandising experience
• A valid driver’s licence
• Great communication skills to build relationships with store personnel
• Commitment to work on a regular basis in a casual position
• Ability to report your work via apps on a smart device
• Activities can be physically demanding in nature, especially planograms, so you need to be confident with working autonomously to complete these tasks.
