The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for managing complex IT projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering IT projects on time and within budget, and is looking to make their next career move into a more senior management role.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage cross-functional project teams to deliver complex IT projects on time and within budget
- Develop and manage project plans and schedules
- Identify and mitigate project risks
- Communicate project status to stakeholders
- Manage and lead 1 direct report: Project Officer
- Manage project budgets and resources
- Ensure that projects meet all quality standards
- Provide expertise and guidance to project team members
- Stay up-to-date on the latest IT trends and technologies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in project management
- Proven track record of successfully delivering multiple IT projects
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
