The Opportunity

As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a key role in contributing to LegalVision's digital marketing strategy – a primary source of leads and website traffic. This entry-level role is ideal for a marketing/publishing/communications graduate with some experience looking to kick-start their career. The position is full-time. $60,000 per year including super.

A Taste of a Day in the Life

• Building and managing relationships with content collaborators.
• Editing and managing content.

Your Responsibilities

• Creating and editing legal content – legal articles, publications, and newsletters.
• Optimising content for search engines (SEO), including working with various tools and platforms and generating keywords.
• Coordinating our publication program, including working with designers and doing some design work.
• Creating social media posts, including for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
• Managing relationships with lawyers who write content
• Leveraging existing content through partnerships and social media.
• Creating and managing social media posts and undertaking SEO and content tasks.
• Creating marketing collateral for publications and webinars.
• Learning and growing with a team that has developed an award-winning business and marketing strategy. We’ve been recognised for marketing, innovation, diversity, client service and more!

The Ideal Applicant

• Marketing, Publishing or Communications degree.
• Ideally 1-2 years of experience.
• Strong editing skills.
• Superior attention to detail.
• Outstanding written communication skills.
  

Highly regarded but not a requirement:

• Experience in search, online or digital marketing, especially B2B.

• Experience in WordPress, Google Analytics or SEO.
• Familiarity with HTML.

What you will be doing: 

• Proactively respond to sales enquiries through a variety of channels in a professional and timely manner.
• Prepare tailored client quotations and contracts, follow up, site inspection organisation with sales processes to effectively convert business opportunities.
• Build rapport and effective business relationships with professional, friendly process.
• Develop strong internal departmental communications and relationships with Revenue, Reservations, F&B, Front Office, hotel partnerships.
• Coordinate social media, marketing and PR campaigns.
• Train and develop deep knowledge across property portfolio.
• Manage enquiries in Accor systems and reporting processes.
• Work effectively in a team as well as independently.

• Work closely with the Director of Sales to maximise lead generation and conversion of MICE business in line with the hotel targets and strategy.
• Management of business from an agreed segment across certain markets, which could be corporate companies, Government, and / or entertainment.
• Maintain existing client/account base to ensure business is retained and developed where possible.
• Research new business for Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour for new lead generation.
• Identify new business opportunities through any means.
• Conduct research to uncover opportunities focusing particularly on “desirable business” and/or “need periods”.
• Know competitor accounts and target businesses.
• Adequate follow up and follow through on all opportunities to win business for Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour.
• Ensure adequate sales time is spent on communicating with clients.
• Providing market intelligence on a regular basis and understanding of competitor strengths weaknesses.
• Submit reports on sales activities, competitor information market trends and any new opportunities as required.
• Have a complete understanding of Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour's sales and service vision, its products, services, presentation of brand, and rate structure to fulfil business objectives.
• Liaise with other Hotel Departments and within the Reservations, Conference and Events Department effectively.
