We are open to this role being based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.

This role will lead the ANZ Applied Sales Team to ensure our long and short term business objectives are met within the HVAC applied space.

The role will involve: 

• Develop, adjust, and implement growth strategies and tactics across all allocated areas of responsibility.  Including internal on-shore and off-shore engagements / initiatives, including any APAC led initiatives.  

• Accountable for the secured growth and margin plan deliverables across all allocated areas of responsibility, including the structure and the processes required to ensure success. 

• Develop and lead the Account Management framework, and associated teams across the assigned divisions.   

• Lead teams of up to 10+ and own the integration of externally facing Sales functions. 

• Drive a Say/Do discipline of accountability and delivering on commitments.

• Meet with key clients to assist sales representatives with building and enhancing relationships, negotiating and closing deals.  

• Direct a high-performance culture by providing direct and thought leadership for our sales teams, whilst managing performance in a manner that recognises and rewards employees to deliver and realise their potential.  

What we are looking for: 

• Relevant Tertiary qualifications  

• 5+ years of Field Sales Management of a team (team size >10) 

• 8+ years of frontline selling experience  

• Experience within the commercial sector and preferably a general understanding of the construction and HVAC space.

• Demonstrable experience working with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) 

• Full driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Grow the overall Autodesk Tandem business in your territory through developing and executing a business plan and growth strategies to achieve team sales and revenue objectives

• Qualify inbound leads and identify expansion opportunities across existing Autodesk customers

• Collaborate with the broader Autodesk teams to create and drive opportunities within our prioritised target industries and segments

• Partner with Customer Success to align on customer growth plans, ensuring successful adoption and ongoing use of Tandem

• Develop and lead customer presentations and product demonstrations that are informative, compelling and customer outcome centered

• Deliver on quarterly and yearly sales targets, providing accurate forecasts to leadership

• Develop sales collateral in a variety of formats to share and conduct training sessions with the broader Autodesk sales teams

• Utilise sales and CRM tools to optimise your customer engagement strategy and effectiveness

• Stay up to date on current industry news, trends, and competitors

• Partner and collaborate with internal subject matter experts, marketing, and product teams to translate customer challenges into workflow solutions and best practices

• Attend and support trade shows and events as needed

• Travel to key customer sites and participate in Executive Briefings as requested

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

• Previous experience selling SaaS technology to both enterprise and mid-market customers (Smart Building Technology and/or AEC-O industry strongly preferred)

• 5+ Years of software sales experience in quota carrying roles

• Strong work ethic, highly adaptable, goal and results oriented

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to take initiative, prioritise, and manage time effectively

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively both in person and remotely with our Global direct and indirect sales teams

• Estimated travel for this position is between 10-20%
