What’s the gist?

We’re on the hunt for a retail casual to join us in our first retail experience! Reporting to the Showroom Manager, you’ll be an integral part to all things sales and operations at our Eva Carlton House.

As a people person, you'll have the opportunity to flex your sales skills within a dynamic and fast-paced direct-to-consumer start up. Most importantly, you’ll be able to fuel your passion for interiors and making customers smile.

• Provide exceptional thoughtful customer service and support to help Eva customers on their journey to purchase Eva products
• Assist customers with their purchasing journey by undertaking tasks such as stock checks, providing support or colour material and fabric choice, advise on delivery timeframes and quotes (if any)
• Assist customers with any post-purchase queries regarding their Eva product, and proactively working with other departments to find solutions for customers.
• Administration tasks including emailing customers, answering and transferring phone calls, processing orders both in person and over the phone.
• Assist in implementing in-store campaigns, promotions and product displays as required.
• Ensure the showroom is presentable at all times, this includes fluffing sofa cushions, sweeping or vacuuming the floor (if required), changing water in vases, wiping mirrors or any glass.
• Ensure the workplace is kept tidy at all times, this includes shared and back of house spaces.

What you look like:

• Minimum 2-years experience working in retail or sales
• Strong alignment with our company values of Aim for Better, Make It Happen, Trust in the Teamwork & Care Like Everyone’s Watching
• Passionate about both creating exceptional customer experiences and hitting sales KPI
• A love for retail and working with customers as a friendly guide for their homes
• Highly competent in POS software (Shopify a plus) and G-Suite apps such as Google Docs, Sheets and Gmail
• Nice to haves: 
• experience working in business with both online and ‘in-store’ channels 
• Strong understanding customer journey and consumer behaviour
• Must be able to work weekends and public holidays

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Account Executive whose passion is
generating new business (new logo acquisition) for Freshworks. They should have a
consultative sales approach, a successful track record growing and on-boarding clients
with polished presentation skills. This person must demonstrate all the behaviors
associated with a high performance sales culture, specifically creating their own pipeline
of new business opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting to new accounts
and delivering results against a quota.

While supported by an experienced BDR team and extensive outbound marketing, this
person should be a self-starting acquisition seller, planning and actively seeking new
logos to bring into the Freshworks family.

The candidate should be a self-starter with a “GROWTH MINDSET” who has a willingness to
learn and adapt in any situation. They should be prepared to develop and execute
against a territory/account plan and consistently deliver on revenue targets and have a
strong can-do attitude in an agile and ever-changing environment as the company
moves into new markets and new technology segments. The ideal candidate will possess
both sales and technical expertise along with engagement skills from a CXO level to
technical and operations staff. The Account executive will be an exceptionally strong
analytical thinker who thrives in fast paced dynamic environments with good
communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

● You’ll become the resident expert on the Freshworks platform for our customers
and will sell new customers on our cloud-based software

● Drive new logo acquisitions to meet or exceed revenue targets
● Demonstrating / selling value to key stakeholders within the accounts
● Build a plan to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction within your accounts
● Create & articulate compelling value conversations with C-Level stakeholders and
also work in alignment with inside stakeholders namely peer AEs, Customer
Success, Implementations, Billing, Support, deals teams etc.
● Close large, complex deals involving multiple executive level stakeholders
● Collaborate with and lead a larger cross functional team to close large complex
deals
● Demonstrated experience managing complex sales cycles and negotiating win-
win agreements based on value based selling
● Exceeding activity, pipeline and revenue goals on a quarterly basis
● Build strategies and execute on the plan in the assigned territory with the goal of
generating and maintaining 3x forward-quarter pipeline
● Analyze sales/metrics data from your accounts to help evolve your strategy
● Assist customers in identifying industry relevant use cases and educate customers
to make a strong impact on their business
● Develop long-term strategic relationships within key accounts
