We are looking for an experienced and strategic Account Executive whose passion is
generating new business (new logo acquisition) for Freshworks. They should have a
consultative sales approach, a successful track record growing and on-boarding clients
with polished presentation skills. This person must demonstrate all the behaviors
associated with a high performance sales culture, specifically creating their own pipeline
of new business opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting to new accounts
and delivering results against a quota.
While supported by an experienced BDR team and extensive outbound marketing, this
person should be a self-starting acquisition seller, planning and actively seeking new
logos to bring into the Freshworks family.
The candidate should be a self-starter with a “GROWTH MINDSET” who has a willingness to
learn and adapt in any situation. They should be prepared to develop and execute
against a territory/account plan and consistently deliver on revenue targets and have a
strong can-do attitude in an agile and ever-changing environment as the company
moves into new markets and new technology segments. The ideal candidate will possess
both sales and technical expertise along with engagement skills from a CXO level to
technical and operations staff. The Account executive will be an exceptionally strong
analytical thinker who thrives in fast paced dynamic environments with good
communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities:
● You’ll become the resident expert on the Freshworks platform for our customers
and will sell new customers on our cloud-based software
● Drive new logo acquisitions to meet or exceed revenue targets
● Demonstrating / selling value to key stakeholders within the accounts
● Build a plan to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction within your accounts
● Create & articulate compelling value conversations with C-Level stakeholders and
also work in alignment with inside stakeholders namely peer AEs, Customer
Success, Implementations, Billing, Support, deals teams etc.
● Close large, complex deals involving multiple executive level stakeholders
● Collaborate with and lead a larger cross functional team to close large complex
deals
● Demonstrated experience managing complex sales cycles and negotiating win-
win agreements based on value based selling
● Exceeding activity, pipeline and revenue goals on a quarterly basis
● Build strategies and execute on the plan in the assigned territory with the goal of
generating and maintaining 3x forward-quarter pipeline
● Analyze sales/metrics data from your accounts to help evolve your strategy
● Assist customers in identifying industry relevant use cases and educate customers
to make a strong impact on their business
● Develop long-term strategic relationships within key accounts
