As a qualitative researcher in our Melbourne team, you will play an active role in the delivery of amazing work, you will be responsible for all parts of research and insight process, from proposal and project design to moderation and the delivery of actionable and strategic insights and outputs.

You hold a university degree in your area of expertise. With working experience in a similar role within an agency or commercial environment in Melbourne (a must), you've honed your skills in qualitative research. You have excellent knowledge of insights covering a range of project topics and methodologies, such as brand development, communications development and testing, customer experience, audience understanding, innovation and NPD.

You have a track record of leading projects with ease and impact, backed by solid analytical and storytelling abilities. You have knowledge, or the desire to learn, in the areas of Culture Analysis and/or Behaviour Change.  You're not afraid to think outside the box and explore new ideas, using your creativity to solve complex challenges with our clients.

Based at Epworth Freemason Maternity Hospital in East Melbourne. you will be responsible for supporting the Midwife Unit Manager and assisting in the overall clinical management and team leadership of the 34 bed Post Natal unit. 

In additional to the Post Natal unit, our Maternity Services department consists of 9 birth suites, 10 special care nursery cots and a 4 bed hospital in the Park Hyatt Hotel and currently accommodates approximately 3,000 births per annum.   

We are open to both full time and part time (minimum 3 shifts per week) applicants, and are interested in speaking with individuals who have been working as an RM and are now seeking a leadership opportunity. You will have the full support of the Maternity Services Manager, and the wider Epworth team.

• Being part of the Leadership Team that focus on delivering exceptional patient, family and staff experience while achieving high-quality clinical outcomes

To be successful in this role…

You will either be in an ANUM/AMUM role or looking to step into a fantastic leadership role. You are a good communicator, flexible in your approach and have natural ability to show compassion and empathy to patients and their families. You’re keen to progress your career, learn how to lead a unit and are open to mentoring and accessing internal leadership programs that support your journey.

Salary range is $107,462 - $110,966 + super + entitlements ,depending on registration type, year level and position (prorated for part-time).

You will have:

• Current unrestricted midwifery registration with AHPRA
• Previous experience and a passion for working in Post Natal units
• Contemporary knowledge of best practice in maternity and newborn nursing care and the patient journey

As one of Victoria's leading maternity hospitals, Epworth Freemasons specialises in women’s and men’s health services including breast and gynaecological surgery, endoscopy and urology. Epworth Freemasons also offers comprehensive cancer care, and a full range of surgical services, including robotic assisted surgery, orthopaedics and ICU care.
Epworth Freemasons has recently upgraded and expanded its operating theatres and admissions facilities, along with major refurbishments of patient rooms and building infrastructure.

Atlantic Research Group (ARG), a distinguished Contract Research Organization (CRO) known for our impactful work in oncology, immunology, and neurology clinical trials, is seeking a Freelance Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to support a respiratory-focused clinical trial across multiple sites in Australia. This role involves monitoring three sites in Melbourne, one in Adelaide, and two in Perth, with a total of 35 subjects enrolled.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and coordinate all aspects of the clinical monitoring process, ensuring compliance with GCPs and ARG's global SOPs.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with investigative sites and client company personnel.
• Represent ARG in the medical research community, enhancing our reputation and contributing to high-quality study outcomes.

Project Timeline:

• Start Date: October 1, 2024 (or sooner)
• End Date: Approximately October 30, 2027 (36-month contract)

Qualifications:

• Prior clinical monitoring experience with a focus on respiratory therapeutic areas.
• Experience with oncology clinical trials is a bonus.
• Must have an established business entity to invoice payment. 
• Ability to travel between Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth.
