An excellent opportunity is available for a Research Officer to join the Cowman Research Team, within the Infectious Diseases and Immune Defence (ID2) Division at Australia?s pre-eminent biomedical research institute.
About the Position
The primary objective of this position is to contribute to the transmission biology aspects of drug and vaccine discovery projects, and to provide research support within the Cowman Laboratory.
The ID2 Division maintains several mosquito colonies in an Insectary (Arthropod containment facility): this research role includes both in vitro and in vivo work with Anopheles stephensi mosquitoes for malaria studies.
This position will suit a motivated candidate with very good communication and organization skills, willing to work as part of a multidisciplinary research team.
