Overview of the role

FIS APAC Solution Engineering Team is an established and growing practice with Developers, Architects, DevOps Engineers, and Cloud Engineers. FIS is looking for a Development Lead / Solution Engineering Manager to line manage the Developer team.

The role will report to the FIS APAC Solution Engineering Practice Manager. Work closely with Sales, Product Management, and Regional and Global development teams to ensure that our solutions are not only feasible but also scalable and align with our overall business goals. The role will suit an experienced Development Technical lead that is ready to take the next step to becoming a people manager with a regional remit. 

What you will be doing

• Manage a team of Solution Engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and career development support.

• Lead the transformation of the development team from J2EE based framework to an Akka CQR/Event Sourcing based framework.

• Drive the adoption of best practices in solution engineering and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality solutions. Ensuring quality starts in the development cycle.

• Participate in strategic planning sessions to contribute insights and recommendations based on technical expertise.

• Works closely with the Solution Engineering Practice Manager to help define and implement group processes and way of working.

• Forecasts resource needs and identify and allocate technical resources to FIS product development and client projects.

• Maximizes both utilization and revenue of assigned teams’ billable time.

• Manages work efforts and performance of subordinates with responsibility for hiring, performance appraisals and remuneration reviews.

• Lead the design and presentation of technical solutions to Clients, ensuring alignment with their business objectives. Serves as subject matter expert and provides input into strategic direction of the group, product, and project direction.

• Partner with Regional development teams to ensure technical feasibility and to incorporate client feedback into product development.

• Partner with the Quality Assurance Practice Manager to embed test automation into the development lifecycle.

• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.

• Collaborates with Solution Engineering leads across the globe including EMEA and the Americas.

• Ensures the team deliveries high quality code that meets security and risk standards and regulatory compliance.

• Identify training / coaching needs and elevate the average competency of the broader team.
• Other related duties assigned as needed.

What you bring

•  Project Management and consulting background for Large complex multiple projects

•  Experience in Payments or Cards system implementation and professional services for corporates and/or banking and financial services is a plus

• Knowledge of financial industry practices, regulations and operations is a plus.

• Experience with Java, EJB, J2EE, JMS, Hibernate, JSON, XML etc.

• Experience with TDD, developing unit, integration, and business tests. (i.e., Citrus, Cucumber etc.) .

What you get to do in this role:

• Main point of contact for all WPS issues/requests from employees, visitors and landlord.
  
• Act as Landlord liaison dealing with the any issues and attending tenant meetings on behalf of ServiceNow. Providing comments to the landlord and passing information back to the WPS Manager.
  
• Management of contracted vendors ensuring they are maintaining there SLA’s and KPIs.
  
• Ensure cleaning contractors maintain office cleanliness; maintain kitchens, conference rooms and common area office space.
  
• Responsible for WPS requests via ticketing system and achieving stated SLA’s for closing tickets.
  
• Support in WPS projects with WPS Manager for example roll out of initiatives within the office.
  
• Manage finance systems, raising PO’s and maintaining the spend management dashboard and creating and owning the office budget.
  
• Oversee the ordering, stock taking and maintain food/beverage/office supplies. Ensuring that the office administrator or ambassador is maintaining a constant stock to maintain a consistent employee experience.
  
• Ensuring that the WPS policies in Health & Safety, office guidelines and security are maintained and updated as required.
  
• Execute the on and off boarding of employees and make sure the seating plan is always updated.
  
• You will be required to ensure that all areas of the office are always well maintained and presentable.
  
• Providing added support to the ambassador or administrators for meeting room set ups and internal/external training sessions.
• Additional requirements will include handling internal tickets for maintenance and other office repairs
  such as A/C failures.
  
• Meet with stakeholders to ensure their requirements are met and expectation set. To work with the WPS Manager to pass any feedback
  
• Manage community events in coordination with the ambassadors or administrators to create a culture within the office.

Your role will entail (but not be limited to):

• Carry out pest control work for a range of customers
• Manage scheduled work, on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Must be willing to travel to mine sites, cattle stations, remote structures and aboriginal communities including overnight stays
• Customer engagement to validate requirements or re-confirming visits

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Account Executive whose passion is
generating new business (new logo acquisition) for Freshworks. They should have a
consultative sales approach, a successful track record growing and on-boarding clients
with polished presentation skills. This person must demonstrate all the behaviors
associated with a high performance sales culture, specifically creating their own pipeline
of new business opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting to new accounts
and delivering results against a quota.

While supported by an experienced BDR team and extensive outbound marketing, this

Responsibilities:
