SIXT Australia is on the lookout for an Area Manager to join the team at Hobart in a permanent full time capacity. This role will see you manage the Hobart Airport and Hobart City locations, spliting your time between both sites.

As an Area Manager, you will manage all staff at your location/s to achieve maximum efficiency, drive utilisation and sales, and support business strategic direction. 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

• Conducting daily meetings with operational team to set daily focus 
• Ensuring the location is supported with rentable fleet to drive utilisation targets 
• Supporting staff by working on the front desk or any part of the location as required

The Role

We have an Operations Manager position available to be based in Ballarat, Victoria. We are looking for a highly motivated manufacturing professional who can lead and develop a small manufacturing team and support implementation of the site strategy. As our Operations Manager, you will lead the production resources at Macspred on all production units with a high focus on quality management and systems, and work to continuously improve the capabilities, processes and assets to meet the business needs. In addition, develop and implement a suitable Quality Management System in line with both Crop Life and Syngenta standards.

Duties broadly include the following;

• Leadership of the production operations and staff in line with Macspred/Syngenta culture and strategy.
• Ensure full compliance against all local legislation, HSE and Quality standards are continuously improved and monitored.
• Ensure effective utilisation of available resources to achieve desired productivity and quality standards.
• Analyse and agree production plans for the unit, manage interfaces with support functions, monitor performance and initiate action to ensure high levels of customer service.
• Ensure targets are met through effective collaboration with internal and external partners
• Identify, motivate, and coach key resources to drive and deliver improvement projects, product establishments or performance improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the site strategy and support implementation through proactive participation in the Site Leadership Team.
