We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The AP Specialist will be responsible for managing the accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices including reconciliation back to purchase orders, and maintaining a strong internal and external supplier relationships. About the Role (your why)

The Senior Cloud Platform Specialist is primarily responsible for the management of the Datacom Cloud with a relentless focus on continuous improvement of cloud operations and associated delivery leveraging agile methodologies. The role will deliver a professional technical engineer with responsibilities across a broad range of technologies. They maintain knowledge of the technologies deployed as well as up to date professional certifications to ensure the delivery of an exceptional service.

What you’ll do

At the moment, as the Senior Cloud Platform Specialist you will be focused on:

• The support of the various technologies that are deployed to deliver the Datacom Cloud. These technologies cover compute, storage, data protection, networking and automation
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Datacom to produce a single cloud vision and value proposition
• Demonstrating proactive ownership of identified issues as well as effective communication for suggested resolution efforts
• Proactive engagement with customers to ensure their requirements are continually being met with positive outcomes
• Compliance with all Datacom Cloud Operational and Information Security Management policies, procedures and processes to ensure an exceptional level of quality
• Maintaining awareness and knowledge of current market and industry developments and providing suitable interpretation to Management and relevant staff within the organisation
• Proactive support and management of the Datacom Cloud platform devices and applications
• Participation in 24x7 on-call support roster

What you’ll bring

Required experience:

• High-level knowledge of the various technologies underpinning the Datacom Private Cloud
• Experience or exposure to working in a Cloud environment
• Practical experience working with Virtualised environments running on VMware, Hyper-V or other hypervisors – VMWare experience is a must have
• Knowlesge of platforms (EMC preferred), fibre channel switching infrastructure (Cisco preferred) and associated Management platforms

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the broader Autodesk teams to create and drive opportunities within our prioritised target industries and segments

• Partner with Customer Success to align on customer growth plans, ensuring successful adoption and ongoing use of Tandem

• Develop and lead customer presentations and product demonstrations that are informative, compelling and customer outcome centered

• Deliver on quarterly and yearly sales targets, providing accurate forecasts to leadership

• Develop sales collateral in a variety of formats to share and conduct training sessions with the broader Autodesk sales teams

• Utilise sales and CRM tools to optimise your customer engagement strategy and effectiveness

• Stay up to date on current industry news, trends, and competitors

• Partner and collaborate with internal subject matter experts, marketing, and product teams to translate customer challenges into workflow solutions and best practices

• Attend and support trade shows and events as needed

• Travel to key customer sites and participate in Executive Briefings as requested

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

• Previous experience selling SaaS technology to both enterprise and mid-market customers (Smart Building Technology and/or AEC-O industry strongly preferred)

• 5+ Years of software sales experience in quota carrying roles

• Strong work ethic, highly adaptable, goal and results oriented

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to take initiative, prioritise, and manage time effectively

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively both in person and remotely with our Global direct and indirect sales teams

• Estimated travel for this position is between 10-20%
