Reporting to the Head of Procurement and Operational Readiness, this is a highly visible Procurement business partnering role that will see you work on incredible expansion projects across Asia Pacific.

• Acting as a strategic partner to the Aegros Senior Leadership and Engineering in all areas of CAPEX equipment and services procurement
• Implementing sourcing initiatives, evaluation and selection of suppliers and materials to obtain best value
• Ensuring timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound bids
• Negotiating with vendors to obtain optimum quality, schedule, cost, terms
• Advising the business regarding appropriate purchasing methods and procedures
• Providing coaching and development for the team and while driving engagement.

You will bring...

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in the Bioprocess, Plasma Fractionation or Pharmaceutical or related industries
• 6-8 years’ work in multi-disciplinary project teams
• Excellent communication skills in English, verbally and written skills

• Experience with legal contracts, financial analysis, and a track record of delivering cost savings
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Be able to demonstrate pricing and cost analysis skills
• Advanced user in Microsoft Excel, procurement software and preferably ERP systems.

Your New Role

As an integral part of our Operations team, the Inventory Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing Inventory Management and leading the Purchasing and Demand Planning teams. Situated at our distribution centre, you'll be the go-to expert for on-hand stock, ensuring visibility for internal stakeholders, mitigating stock risks, and overseeing the coordination of purchase orders versus shipments.

This role combines people management, operational involvement in inventory control, and collaboration with international supply chain partners.

Your Day to Day

• Maintain inventory visibility, acting as an internal subject matter expert
• Develop and implement comprehensive inventory management strategies
• Provide guidance and training to Purchasing Manager, Officers, and Demand Planners
• Own the Master Data position for continuous process improvement
• Build strong relationships with suppliers for an efficient supply chain

Your Skills

JOB SUMMARY:

The main focus for the Purchasing Administrator is responsible for supporting the National Parts team with the branch networks’ daily purchasing requirements.

This role communicates directly with suppliers and carriers to confirm and follow up orders both locally and internationally.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

• Raising Purchase Orders as per agreed process
• Emailing Purchase Orders to suppliers in a professional manner
• Accessing inventory database across JLG USA / Europe systems
• Checking all pricing and dates to ensure accuracy
• Selecting freight service to match requirements of customer/branch
• Chasing up ETA’s on outstanding orders with suppliers, and updating system and team members
• Handling all internal and external enquires
• Cross checking invoices against purchase orders to ensure accuracy
• Maintain registers and databases
• Other administrative and ad hoc duties as required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Proven experience within a purchasing/customer service department
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to follow up
• Highly organised and structured, able to deal with multiple tasks and competing priorities
• Outstanding attention to detail

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
