The Role

You'll be responsible for performing a range of administrative and financial functions that are required for a disability service provider, this includes preparing and processing NDIS invoices, assisting with payroll, book-keeping, reconciling transactions, preparing financial reports, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders, and assisting in the overall operations of our organisation.

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage day-to-day administration tasks with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist with participant and team member enquiries.
• Claiming and invoicing for NDIS services
• Respond to NDIS and accounts enquiries
• Develop quotes, service agreements and schedules of support
• Assist with the processing of the fortnightly payroll
• Assist with accounts receivable, payable and bank statement reconciliation, as required
• Ensure services are provided so as to adhere to relevant industry legislation and standards
• Identify the opportunities to increase the budget of the participant.
• Managing documentation, record-keeping, and data entry.

We are currently looking for an experienced Transport Administrator to assist and work directly in the day-to-day operations of our business based in Truganina.

GKR specialises in the supply of transport, storage, and logistics services to a various range of industries. We have extensive experience in providing practical and affordable solutions to our clients in the automotive, industrial, heavy haulage, oil and gas, mining and manufacturing sectors.

The Role

• Enter consignment notes daily and ensure they are correct.
• Check on-forwarders invoicing and provide on-forwarding quotes for other depots.
• Ensure all checks for associated paperwork are completed for dispatch/deliveries (SLI, connotes, pallet paperwork and PODs).
• Liaise directly with clients daily.
• Receive and action any customer requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• POD management.
• Invoicing.

About You

• Minimum 2 years administrative experience in a warehouse/transport environment.
• Strong communication skills that will allow you to liaise with varied customers
• A strong proactive customer service approach.
• Reliable, can work independently with minimal supervision and be part of a team in delivering daily results.
• Experience in bookings and coordination transport with approved carriers.
• Understanding of operations process in a distribution company.
• Experience using Office 365.

This position works closely with our customer to support a Cyber Training Range for Defence,. Activities we'd like your support with in this role:

• Administration of Defence Cyber Training Range systems
• Assist in the implementation of technical designs
• Identify security gaps in existing soft layer monitoring, communicating with Cyber Security Manager
• Identify and develop improvements to workplace SOPs 
• Oversee system administration documentation and update in accordance to changes in governance and policy.

Due to the nature of work, applicants must be Australian Citizens and have an existing NV-2 AGSVA security clearance.
