We are currently seeking a part-time Maintenance Officer to join the team at Oaks Melbourne on Collins Hotel. You will be responsible for maintaining the presentation of guest rooms and public areas and carrying out repairs within the property.

About The Role：

We are looking for an Onboarding Operations Officer who is fluent in both English and Mandarin to play a vital role in conducting KYC activities and ensuring seamless onboarding for corporate and institutional clients. Your expertise will help us maintain regulatory compliance while you update SOPs, support regulatory reporting, and enhance our systems. Collaborate with our compliance teams on CDD/EDD processes and contribute to exciting projects that streamline our operations and drive efficiency. Your impact will be felt across the organization.

Key Responsibilities：

• Perform KYC activities, including PEP and sanctions screening to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Handle customer onboarding for corporate, trust, and institutional clients, ensuring all processes are compliant and efficient.
• Update and distribute SOP documentation, ensuring all operational procedures are clearly outlined and kept current.
• Assist in preparing reports for regulatory bodies (such as AUSTRAC) and audit purposes as needed, including the provision of audit materials.
• Coordinate and support various projects, including the automation of key processes and other strategic initiatives, ensuring smooth execution and cross-team collaboration.
• Manage system administration tasks, such as updating registration forms and multi-language support.
• Assist with reporting data, such as tracking onboarding volume.
• Collaborate with Compliance teams for CDD/EDD, client off-boarding, etc.

• 1-3 years of experience in KYC/AML within the financial services industry is preferred.
• Strong project management skills with a proven ability to oversee multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team and demonstrate a rapid learning capacity.
• Familiarity with corporate, trust, and institutional onboarding processes is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of AUSTRAC and ASIC regulations related to compliance and onboarding is highly advantageous.
• Experience with Sumsub, World-Check, or other electronic verification tools is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication skills in both Mandarin and English.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead the delivery of Community Development programming through effective project management, and evaluation.
• Implement and/or execute, actions under the Council Plan, Social Justice Charter, other key strategies and community engagement initiatives.
• Facilitate the progress of community capacity building projects and initiatives that enhance wellbeing, improve safety, celebrate diversity, inclusion and strengthen community and social cohesion.
• Identify community needs and factors that will influence community planning through examination of social research, community aspirations, demographic and social data, changing models of service provision and new policy directions.
• Liaise and collaborate with Council departments, the community and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and provide high quality reports pertaining to community development, capacity building and social inclusion projects and initiatives.
• Provide timely advice to the Team Leader Community Development regarding community wellbeing indicators and emerging trends and issues pertinent to the development of Council policies, plans and strategies.
• Apply community development principles in the execution of all responsibilities and duties both with internal and external interest groups. Ensure appropriate and adequate consultation with key stakeholders to resource capacity building activities in relation to community groups and community activity.

The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role:

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Social Sciences, Community Development or a related field, with a focus on community development and some experience, or lesser formal qualifications with substantial experience.
• Demonstrated experience in engaging multiple stakeholders, enhancing public participation and building community capacity through a variety of community development processes, practices and activities.
• Demonstrated experience working with diverse communities and understanding of cultural competency, social inclusion, diversity, inclusion and social justice principals.
• Proven facilitation, presentation, liaison and influencing skills with residents, community groups, other Council departments and organisations.
• Demonstrated experience in identifying funding opportunities, preparation of funding submissions and ability to manage contracts
• Ability to plan, implement, report on and evaluate projects, providing sound and timely advice, information and data on issues relating to diverse and/or disadvantaged communities.
• Ability to influence and drive internal and external structural change to support vulnerable communities to participate in community and work life.
• Highly developed written and oral communication skills including ability to prepare correspondence, reports, financial reports and acquittals.
• Current Driver's licence and Working with Children Check.
