GO OFFSHORE Pty Ltd (GO), a leading offshore services company, based in South Perth, WA, specialising in providing quality and safe marine and logistics solutions to the offshore energy sector, is experiencing considerable growth within its Australian Fleet. As a result, GO are seeking the engagement of full-time permanent highly experienced and skilled Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) for one of our key contracts.

GO are seeking an STCW-certified Electro-Technical Officer with extensive experience on Rolls Royce electrical systems in an ongoing full-time capacity to successfully see out the remainder of the contract.

DUTIES

Offshore Electro-Technical Officers are required to carry out the following duties:
Maintenance and Repair: Performing routine maintenance on all electrical equipment onboard, including generators, switchboards, motors, control systems, and navigation equipment.
Operations and Monitoring: Overseeing the safe and efficient operation of all electrical systems onboard. This includes monitoring power generation, distribution, and consumption.
Navigation and Communication Systems: Maintaining and troubleshooting electronic navigation equipment like radars, GPS systems, and communication systems like radios and satellite communication equipment.
Safety and Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring the vessel complies with all relevant national and international regulations regarding electrical installations and operations.
KEY REQUIREMENTS

Eligible candidates will be required to possess the following skills, experience and competencies:

SCTW Certificate of Competency as Electro-Technical Officer Unlimited (III/6)
Dynamic Positioning Maintenance certification
Dynamic Positioning Maintenance – Rolls Royce Icon certification (desirable)
Minimum 10 years’ experience as a foreign-going offshore ETO
STCW Designated Security Duties Certificate
Current STCW Seafarers Medical
Passport with minimum 12 months validity including unlimited Australian Work Rights
More specifically, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate experience working with the following electrical systems:

Rolls Royce ICON DP2 system including Rolls Royce ICON – Poscon Joystick
Rolls Royce Helicon X Thruster Control System
DP PRS systems, Cyscan, Radius and Kongsberg HiPap 501
Rolls Royce ACON Power Management System (PMS)
