What does the role look like? 

• Lead the preparation and review of ALDI’s GST compliance obligations
• Lead the transition to next generation BAS preparation software, including process improvement during implementation
• Monitor changes in tax legislation, assess impact on the business, and partner with key stakeholders where required
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to provide advice on business transactions and projects
• Maintain ALDI’s strong tax governance framework, including monitoring and testing processes and controls
• Be the Australian representative of the International Indirect Tax Expert Group, familiar with the Indirect Tax related IT landscape and processes
• Drive, manage and effectively implement tax related improvement initiatives, including process and control optimization and strategies, processes, and controls to enhance business efficiency

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Acquiring team  

The Acquiring team @ Cuscal is responsible for building seamless payment facilitation experiences for our clients. Our advanced payment processing platform ensures seamless handling of various payment methods, while our reliable infrastructure and technology that integrates with our client’s systems enables businesses to accept payments with ease. Additionally, we take measures to ensure the security of every transaction, allowing our clients to have confidence in every transaction. 

Reporting to the Acquiring team Product Owner, the Business Analyst will Undertake critical analyses of current state acquiring solutions and identify/assist with the design of future state processes and solutions. The Business Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the integration of business needs with technology solutions through analysing information, understanding the requirements of stakeholders and vendor partners to define effective solutions. 

About the Role: 

• Work with stakeholders to understand needs, manage conflicts, and validate requirements.  

• Form and maintain effective relationships with third parties such as Vendors, Outsourced Partners, Business Partners and Clients 

• Organise and synthesise stakeholder information, apply analysis techniques, and ensure artefacts meet quality standards.  

• Capture, manage, and communicate requirements, ensuring traceability and alignment with business needs. 

• Prepare and present business analysis artefacts according to Community of Practice (COP) standards.  

• Collaborate on cost & time estimation for business analysis tasks and support Go-Live plans and activities. 

• Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and clients to support project goals and business value  

• Perform value stream mapping and user story mapping to illustrate end-to-end business processes and identify improvements. 

• Understand TDD and BDD concepts to support end-to-end quality engineering outcomes through well-defined user stories and artefacts. 

About You: 

• At least 3 years' experience as a Business Analyst in the IT industry within the Banking or Financial Services industry, payments experience highly regarded.  

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business studies or equivalent 

• Proven ability to translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria with supporting artefacts such as technical specifications, sequence diagrams and data mapping that align and support the business outcome.  

• Demonstrated experience on payment systems (e.g., digital payments, payment orchestration, Open API, AS2805 / ISO8583). 

• Advanced presentation, communication and visual thinking skills  

• Proven experience in delivering results to meet customer expectations  

• Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA), IIBA, CBAP or BABOK qualifications.

The Pricing team is a specialist division within the Sales Operations Team, responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies to maximise revenue potentials. The team provides timely and insightful data to key stakeholders within the company to assist in making trading decisions within the competitive television marketplace.

As a member of the Pricing team you will be responsible for the maintenance & analysis of critical pricing reports which inform pricing strategies. Your role will also include a number of day to day functions in support of the Pricing Manager.

The Business Analyst - Product Data will work closely with team members, Business Development, and cross-functional teams to ensure we are sourcing, validating and surfacing internal and external data to make informed business decisions.

Reporting to the Managing Director & Head of Real Estate Asia Pacific, the Analyst/Associate is accountable for assisting the Real Estate team in the identification, selection, evaluation, and ongoing management of relationships and real estate investments across the Asia Pacific region.

Role-specific Accountabilities:

• Under the general direction of the Managing Director, you will become an integral member of the investment team, building a solid foundation as a professional multi-sector and multi-strategy investor.
• Alongside a multicultural and experienced team, you will build a thorough understanding of the investment process, commercial decision-making and partner selection.

About the Job

The Information Security Cloud Analyst is responsible for safeguarding Rest’s cloud-based systems encompassing a broad range of activities including evaluating and mitigating risks, formulating cloud-specific security strategies, continuously watching for cyber threats, ensuring regulatory compliance, and responding to security incidents.

Additionally, the Information Security Cloud Analyst will create secure cloud designs and guardrails, educate employees on best practices, assess third-party vendors for security risks, maintain cloud security policies, and manage various cloud security technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deliver & monitor security controls in cloud platforms, with primary focus on AWS.
• Provide strategic security and risk guidance for cloud security and related projects, including the evaluation and recommendation of technical controls and platform architectural designs.
• Operate, enhance and evolve cloud-native and third-party SaaS cloud security tooling to assure security posture of the cloud platform meets internal and regulatory compliance requirements.

Join our dynamic Payroll team as a permanent, full time Payroll Specialist. This is a hybrid opportunity, working 2 days a week at Sydney Olympic Park and the rest from home. Be responsible for accurate and efficient processing of payroll, including timesheets, leave, termination calculations, superannuation and other payroll calculations in addition to being the go-to person for payroll queries.

Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Ensuring timely processing of payroll and relevant entitlements for NRMA Group of businesses.
• Keeping accurate records and maintaining appropriate compliance procedures for easy reconciliation.
• Assisting with relevant HR administration and enquiries
• Providing support with monthly balancing of Superannuation, Payroll, PAYG.

What You’ll Bring 

• Prior experience in a similar role (4 years) and demonstrated practical knowledge of payroll processes (automated and manual calculations).
• Experience using largescale payroll systems is essential (specific experience with Dayforce and/or ADP will be highly regarded).
• General understanding of EA/award interpretation and Fair Work requirements.
• Sound experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Confident interpersonal and communication skills to be able to effectively partner and support stakeholders.
