You will work with our industry-leading remotely operated autonomous longwall technology, where our Aquila Mine won the Outstanding Mine Performance category at the 2023 Australian Mining Prospect Awards.

About the Role

We are looking for a Logistics Supervisor (Day Shift) to join our site in Morwell. Responsible for up to 24 team members over 4 crews, managing the warehouse operations. What Will You Do?

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, a dining and cleaning employee forms a critical part of the restaurant team. This role is suited to an individual who is highly organised, is able to work autonomously and displays high attention to detail. A maintenance employee is primarily focused on cleanliness of the restaurant (internally and externally) and preparing the restaurant for trade each day.

This is a part time position with typical working hours between 4am and 10am. Days and hours may change and vary in time to meet the needs of the restaurant. This position falls under the Fast Food Award, 2020.

What can you expect on a day-to-day basis?

• Maintain all aspects of the internal and external restaurant environment to provide a clean, functioning and welcoming environment for Crew, Managers and Customers
• Maintain the restaurant carpark, patio and all exterior equipment including, but not limited to: bins, gardens, curbs, signage, floors, tables and chairs
• Organise and clean the back area of the restaurant including the corral area and staff toilets

Be the first and last impression at the hotel. You are the central point of contact for guests and can really transform a stay into an experience. While the role includes check-ins, check-outs and occasional reservations, the real excitement comes from creating friendships with guests and creating memorable moments. Offering up to 30 hours a week.

You will be responsible for:

• Apply thorough working knowledge of the front office operations to include the front desk, reception/cashiering procedures and reservations.
• Develop a strong understanding of the functions of each department of the hotel, physical layouts of the hotel facilities, the key personnel and their roles, daily functions and special events, and conventions and groups currently in the house and due to arrive.
• Assist in conducting training for all Front Office employees.
• Supervise front cashiers and help out with accounting problems.
• Control hotel duty keys and floats whilst on duty.
• Assist with preparation of rosters, ensuring that suitable and cost effective employee levels are maintained at all times.
• Implement training programs for all employees, conduct induction and skills training.
• Ensure department policies and procedures are understood by all employees and observed in tasks performed.
