THE ROLE
As a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating the business expertise necessary to deliver the successful scoping, planning, influencing, development and test marketing of new products whilst also manage outgoing skus and own your portfolio Lifecyle of core range and processes for CCEP.
This is a dynamic and highly challenging role which requires strong thought leadership, influencing and collaboration as it scopes, partners in the testing of new processes and growth opportunities.
You will possess strong business acumen and ideally have some experience in Supply Chain/Operational, Strategy, NPD, Sales, and have developed in a fast-paced FMCG environment. Your well-developed project management, decision making and influencing skills, as well as an ability to effectively communicate, problem solve and think outside the box will be called upon daily. Working with Strategy, Marketing, Sales, Commercial, Supply Chain teams, your ability to collaborate, engage, develop and leverage strong working relationships will be essential for success in this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Champion, Scope and Manage projects from idea to NPD launch to ensure new products are tested and launched as soon as possible - on time and on budget.  Opportunity areas include initiatives such as:

Partnering with CCSP marketing & technical resources

70% of what we do is core NPD’s and Portfolio management of sku Lifecyle 
20% of what we do is Transform (supported by Futureworks, Change Mgt Project Leaders, Strategic Project Leaders)
10% of what we do is New Model / Other Revenue Streams e.g. PSD as income stream (ideation through to commercialisation into non beverage opportunity areas).


Project management to scope out manufacturing solution, primary and secondary packaging and co-packing capabilities, including location; cost & timing, consumer tests, trials and importation of allocated projects
Be the lead contact between Strategy, Supply, Marketing, Sales and Gatekeepers for all your portfolio
Proactively drive projects forward, ensuring launch is as early as possible and all barriers are addressed and managed through with the appropriate stakeholders.
Organise project information/considerations to develop business cases with recommendations on how to proceed. Identifying and addressing barriers to success.  Project management Identifying key issues, alternatives and required next steps.
Work closely with Commercial teams and partners to ensure all NPD related costs (Logistics, Capex, Plate Costs, Write Offs, Line Trials) are managed to within allocated budget/approvals.
Analyse your whole portfolio and recommend ways forward to stop, amplify, pivot your projects, working closely with the category strategy and RGM’s teams will then create a proactive recommendation back to the business weather this is to support a brand/sales or supply chain initiative
Budget Management for line tests and trials
Timeline management (delivery as per agreements with key stakeholders).
Timely completion of business cases (CAPEX), stage gate documentations and other adhoc reports as required.
Effective integration of New Product projects into your portfolio and gate processes
Effecti ve integration of Exiting skus for your portfolio and gate processes

MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Previous experience in strategic financial planning and business partnering will be an advantage.
• Commercial experience in a company during growth business stage
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, and With Distinction (highly desirable)
• Master's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
• Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) will be advantageous
• Knowledge of Australian financial and regulatory frameworks, including taxation laws specific to private companies and the childcare industry.
• Familiarity with government funding programs and grants applicable to childcare services in Australia.

- Ensure maximum operational efficiencies to maintain exceptional delivery from end-to-end deliveries and maximise profitability.

3-5 years relevant work experience working in transportation logistics, fleet management or as a Transport Company Manager is required.

Job Description
The key purpose of this newly created role is lead the end to end actuarial processes for the Home portfolio of products and the geospatial and natural perils capability. This includes overseeing and reviewing technical rate reviews and providing actuarial support to the wider team. The position will coordinate and present findings in detailed reports to Senior Management. To be successful in this role, you should have solid technical skills and an ability to lead a technical team.

Ultimately, the GM will help the team to manage its key processes to ensure ongoing profitability while minimising financial risks, and fostering a data driven culture that focus' on continuous improvement.

Key activities:

Overarching
• Strategically and operationally lead the Home Pricing team, including the Geospatial & Natural Perils team, to deliver high quality actuarial and pricing processes to ensure a holistic management of their portfolio of products and alignment with strategic pricing philosophies to ensure sustainable business performance and influence future business direction.
• Foster collaboration between all teams within Pricing, role modelling appropriate behaviour
• Managing technical pricing, setting priorities and pathways for continuous improvement and providing any other actuarial advice to the wider business.
• Approve and manage pricing releases for products
• Provide valuable advice to the business on pricing performance
• Manage policies and procedures for end-to-end pricing practices

Risk Rating
• Oversee the end-to-end rate review process, including data, modelling, review, implementation and monitoring
• Review and provide quality feedback on risk cost models
• Review and enable effective decisions / selections for risk rating
• Identify and develop processes that provides for continuous improvements to risk rating data and processes
• Understand and communicate changes and expected impact of rate reviews to GMs, Directors and Committees
• Identify, consider and evaluate alternative data sources for risk rating, including rating for natural perils

Rating Engine
• Advise on the best approach to implement complex rating changes
• Oversee the ratebook generation process for delegated products, including release timing, communication and identify potential conflicts
• Identify and develop systems and processes that provides for continuous improvements to the rating engine

Pricing Queries/BAU
• Develop governance and safeguards to mitigate risk of pricing errors
• Appropriately manage changes to pricing in order to reduce volume of pricing queries and mitigate risk of pricing errors
• Oversee monthly reporting and identify opportunities to enhance and automate reporting processes

Other
• Prepare and effectively present complex papers for presentation to Directors or the PUWC
• Engage/communicate with necessary stakeholders for future pricing changes
• Define requirements and manage complex IT changes for Pricing
• Manage and sign-off testing for all business-wide IT changes that impact pricing
• Oversee the automation of commonly used data assets used in the pricing team (e.g. risk extracts, log processing) and enhance the value and utilisation of EDW for pricing
• Contribute to the development of Actuarial Capability for the organisation, including recruiting, training and continual professional development to ensure continuity and minimise key person risk.
What you bring with you

• Experienced Actuary (FIAA or equivalent), with 10+ years of experience in General Insurance pricing
• Clear understanding of statistical modelling techniques, particularly predictive modelling
• Familiarity with Emblem, SAS, R, SQL is advantageous

Excellent understanding of all facets of Hotel Management, including compliance, rosters/labour management, safety and stock control. Current RSA, RCG and First Aid certifications are essential.
