Freshdrop Transport Group Pty Ltd is an established Transport specialist with significant cartage Australia Wide. Formally Velox Transport Group Pty Ltd, we specialise in Refrigerated Transport. To lead Freshdrop into a new growth phase we require a Full Time Transport Company Manager for our East Coast operations. Reporting to the General Manager, this position is currently based on the Gold Coast, Queensland, enabling management of both our QLD and NSW operations.

A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Management is required.
You’ll be responsible for:
- All aspects of business operations and including manage a team of full-time employees;
- All aspects of business operations to ensure efficiencies in all areas;
- Develop relationships with key clients for cartage agreements and ensure that Velox is meeting all KPI’s, reporting and delivery procedures;
- Deal with all cartage contracts and agreements;
- Recruit, train and manage the Area/Duty Managers;
- Oversee and provide guidance regarding the sourcing and training of drivers for Quality Control;
- Manage all activities in relation to the fleets being managed under cartage contracts;
- Manage the budget costs associated with the purchase and maintenance of all vehicles and fuel;
- Ensure company compliance to policies and procedures for legislative requirements and internal needs;
- Oversee the Technical efficiencies and contracts for communications;
- Ensure maximum operational efficiencies to maintain exceptional delivery from end-to-end deliveries and maximise profitability.
3-5 years relevant work experience working in transportation logistics, fleet management or as a Transport Company Manager is required.
