The Successful candidate must display several of the following skills and technology proficiencies:

• 1+ years of experience in ICT systems engineering or related field with a Managed Service Provider

The Purpose

The primary purpose of the position is to be part of a dynamic team that is responsible to implement, automate, support and maintain all environments that are expected to operate on a 24x7 basis.

Performing and coordinating the implementation, ongoing engineering and maintenance/upgrading of a multi-platform environment with strong focus on Linux (Red Hat), VMware ESXi, Databases (Oracle SQL), SAN Storage (NFS) and various network services in a hybrid cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure SLA, SLE and SLO are met in a 24x7 environment. Required participation to an on-call roster
• Manage, maintain Red Hat Linux and Red Hat Ansible and Satellite Servers
• Operating System hardening based on recommendation by the Centre for Internet Security (CIS)
• Develop scripts, Ansible playbook ( Bash or Python ) and API calls for automating system administration and other repeatable tasks
• Manage and maintain network services such as Mail, DNS, NTP, Firewalld and F5 Load Balancer
• Generate system health related reports, manage and maintain monitoring, alerting and reporting systems such as Splunk, Dynatrace and Wazuh
• Deploy, configure, troubleshoot and staying up to date with licensing, subscriptions, versions and features and making sure all are compliant
• Implement security best practice, perform regular audits, patches and updates
• Monitor performance and identify bottleneck and optimise system resources such as disk utilisations
• Diagnose and resolve issues not limited to hardware, network to application level
• Ensure robust data integrity protection and availability with filesystem snapshot (such as LVM and VM snapshot) log shipping, replication and backup and recovery strategies
• Understand the principle of secure authentication, access control and multi factor authorisation as well as encryption technologies used in protocols such TLS and HTTPS and certificates.
• Complete all role requirements relating to development, implementation and maintenance of IT systems in accordance with the AP+’s information security policies and procedures as directed by the Head of Reliability and Infrastructure and/or delegates.

• Manage third-party relationships including agency relationships (creative, media, research, PR) and participant/ member marketing teams.

Qualification:

• Red Hat Certification, such as RHCE, would be highly desirable

What you’ll do

As Mobility Engineer, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

What you’ll bring

You will have 5 years’ IT industry experience, preferably within an IT managed service provider, with approx. 2 years’ experience in a similar Mobility role. You will possess excellent knowledge of iOS, Android, MacOS and Windows 10 operating systems. Along with good working knowledge of networking and TCP/IP, AD, DHP, DNS and Enterprise applications. MobileIron, Google admin, VMware WS1 (SEG, UAG, ENS) and/ or Microsoft Intune administration skills would be a huge advantage. About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team at our Melbourne Port Terminal in West Melbourne in a full time Maintenance Electrician position. Reporting to the Asset & Maintenance Manager, the role is responsible for the electrical maintenance of new and existing assets and equipment. The work is varied and there will be the opportunity to provide input and feedback on the maintenance plan.

• Undertaking planned and preventative electrical maintenance works with some minor capital works

About the Role

The Endpoint Engineering team assists companies by supporting their environments day to day and recommending best practises to follow and implement. The team designs, builds, supports, and continuously improves end user solutions end to end, enabling our customers to transform their business and modernise their end user experience. You will problem-solve technical issues for customers to show how these products can make businesses more productive, collaborative, and innovative. As a SOE Engineer you will manage the day-to-day operations of the Customers endpoint systems with minimal direction and engage in project work when they arise. You will have a key focus on ensuring an exceptional customer experience to Datacom’s endpoint customer base.

What you will do

As a SOE Engineer, you will be responsible, but not limited to:

• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager including SCCM and Intune
• Strong technical knowledge of Active Directory – Group Policy Management
• Strong Scripting ability (PowerShell, VBScript, Batch)
• Experience with Windows 10 task sequencing and end point configuration
• Experience with facilitating large and enterprise scale software deployments
• Maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements of environment wide configurations including user policies, device policies, security policies, firmware, drivers, and automation scripts through enterprise grade endpoint management platforms (Intune/SCCM)
• Experience with Packaging desktop applications and configure them for streamlined deployment
• Ensure outstanding levels of customer satisfaction by demonstrating timely, professional, and attentive responses to customers and colleagues
• Operate in, and contribute to the winning culture of a high performing team
• Identify service improvements, efficiencies and/or cost reductions for Datacom customers
• Follow best practice methodologies and adhere to recognised ITIL processes (e.g., change/release).
• Perform upgrades on applicable hardware and operating systems as required/requested
• Provide maintenance and enhancements of deployed desktop operating system images (physical and virtual)
• Assist with projects as required and act as the lead
• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in SOE migrations, projects, and implementation
• Experience in macOS operating systems using JAMF would be advantageous

• Provide continuous high-quality upkeep of supporting documentation such as Designs, As-Builts, How-tos, environment reporting, risk registers, tickets, and roadmap lifecycles

What you will bring

You will have 5 years’ IT industry experience, preferably within an IT managed service provider, with approximately 3 years’ experience in a similar SOE Engineer role. You will possess exceptional knowledge of Windows 10, 11. Along with good working knowledge of networking and TCP/IP, AD, DHP, DNS, certificate services and Enterprise applications. You will have exceptional skills in endpoint management platforms, System Centre Configuration Manager, Intune, Jamf, and Azure Virtual Desktop). You will bring exceptional troubleshooting, customer service, communication, and prioritisation skills; and will be comfortable and able to work autonomously with minimal supervision. You will be comfortable with rapid change and be available to travel to Datacom, customer sites and conferences when required.

The Sales engineer will work with enterprise customers to shorten the sales cycle by overcoming technical hurdles within these accounts. The Role

We're on the lookout for someone to join our awesome Customer Service team. They’re the first point of contact for our owners and hirers (customers) via phone, tickets, and live chat. They help our customers with all sorts of things from finding the right vehicle to hire, helping with listings, verification checks and managing breakdown and accident call-outs.

About the Role, and Why it is a GREAT Step for You!

Datacom operations are seeking an Operations Centre Engineer whose role is to monitor systems including Windows, UNIX, Database, Cloud and backups in real-time on a 24x7x365 rotational basis and able to troubleshoot/triage/resolve events or escalating to specialist’s teams for resolution. You will receive a standby allowance for when offshift and when called in to cover, all hours are considered overtime. There is a shift allowance of 12.5% on all working hours too so that standard pay is as uniform as possible, regardless of if you are day or night shift.

It is essentially just above an entry-level role, so don't let the title scare you off! We do still need people with IT experience - the role is perfect for those who have done service desk or desktop engineering work - but note that this is still an associate level position. It is seen as a transitionary role and a great stepping stone to get into higher level IT roles, as has happened with many of our staff since the teams' inception 4 years ago. After working in this role, you should be able to handle the business critical tasks and changes while you have time to focus on any certifications you are interested in. You can really showcase your skills ihere and be involved with the technologies that you want to be involved with, initially at a lower level but you can steadily increase your utilisation of other, higher technologies as you grow and develop.
