BESIX Watpac are looking for a legal resource to join our fast paced and dynamic team, reporting to the Group Contracts Manager. This role will be based in our Sydney office providing support to all business units nationally. The key responsibilities of this position include:

• Ensure compliance with BESIX Watpac’s policies and procedures;
• Advise the business on contract interpretation and administration on our projects;
• Identify and advise on key contractual and legal risks and provide advice to the business on risk management and dispute avoidance;

The Role

The Missing Link Security Operations Centre provides 24x7 Managed Detection & Response (MDR) support to our clients across a variety of sectors. Day-to-day you will be responsible for the monitoring and triaging of alerts from market-leading MDR technologies, collaborating with our SOC Engineers, Red Team and our clients to develop, test and tune use cases through Purple Teaming exercises.

About You

• Demonstrated experience in successfully winning and delivering Civil Infrastructure projects to a high standard, within budget and on time;
• Passionate about developing yourself to be a future leader and initiator of our local strategy to grow the Civil Infrastructure and Industrial groups capability;

This role sits within our Power Generation, Energy team. Based in Sydney this role offers you the opportunity to apply your knowledge and passion as you work in a diverse and award-winning team on the design of some of Sydney’s most interesting projects.

We know the work Aurecon does is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it’s the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.

• Working with the Power Generation team, you will apply your sound knowledge and experience (ideally 4+ years) in Civil engineering across projects within the energy space. Proven experience acting as an Owner’s Engineer on renewable energy generating assets of utility scale wind, solar and energy storage is highly desirable.
• Ability to review design drawings for compliance, technical specifications, design criteria, project work plan/time schedule, inspection test plans, BoQs and cost estimates. 
• Proficient in Australian Standards and capable of providing civil design solutions and documentation to support energy projects within the Power Generation and Distribution practice groups for various development types, from feasibility, conceptual to detailed design.
• Experience in civil design and CAD software packages such as Civil 3D, 12d, Drains, AutoCAD or others.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with Clients and multiple stakeholders.
• Assist with the preparation of tender submissions and other work winning activities
• Use your ability to initiate, and build relationships with both your peers and clients to push forward the boundaries of what is possible
• Creative problem-solving skills to continually finds ways to overcome challenges and obstacles.
• Enjoy collaborating with colleagues nationally and internationally, as we utilise our people across ANZ and beyond to solve our clients’ problems

You will be guiding the technical development of our game security measures, protecting the game client from hacks and exploits, hardening the code and data running on the player’s PC, and developing a secure infrastructure and server ecosystem for our players.
