About the role

As a Specialist UI Designer, you will drive and actively create the CommSec design language. You will work closely with our UX designers, product owners and developers to design a beautifully crafted and seamless experience across our digital assets. Your ability to craft design that looks good while creating a great user experience for our customers will set you up for success in this role.

Your team

The Digital & Customer Experience Chapter Area in CommSec comprises of UX Designers, UI Designers, Digital Product Managers and Customer Strategy experts. The team is responsible for evolving the digital experiences across web and app at CommSec.

Your core responsibilities include

• Knowledge and application of Brand and tone of voice into graphical user interfaces

• Design world class human centered experiences across the various digital channels and mediums

• Prototype to create brand narrative as well as powerful visual storytelling to influence future direction of our experiences.

• Ideate and conceptualise divergent ideas to explore solution options and converge on a subset of concepts that best solve for the identified problem space.

• Development of innovative interface designs, typography, and screen layouts for web sites, and touch applications.

• Actively contribute and evolve the CommSec Design Language and design system.

• Create design documentation to be consumed by delivery teams in a scaled agile working environment.

• Work with multiple stakeholders at varying levels of seniority to deliver the best user experiences to our target customers.

What we are looking for

• Highly developed user interface and interaction design skills with applied knowledge of visual design, accessibility, responsive and scalable design

• Demonstrated usage of tools such as Sketch, Zeplin, Figma and Adobe Suite

• Experience in designing for native platforms in iOS, Android, and Web with working knowledge of Swift, Jetpack, React or similar

• Demonstrated experience creating functional prototypes

• A curious mindset with an aptitude and passion for learning new skills in analytics, content, research, and coding

• An ability to confidently communicate with technical and engineering teams across multiple communication mediums to realise final execution

• Demonstrated experience working with design systems including governance, maintenance, and documentation

As a Client Experience Associate at FNZ you will play a pivotal role as the primary point of contact for our valued clients, primarily comprising of investors and advisers. You will be responsible for a wide range of client interactions, encompassing both inbound and outbound phone calls, as well as written communication related to our diverse range of products and services. At the heart of this role is the dedication to enhancing client satisfaction and maintaining a high standard of support. In this role you will work closely with our clients to resolve their queries, provide information, and guide them through their financial needs.

This is a 6 Month Fixed-Term opportunity.

The responsibilities will include:  

• Educating clients on products and services available on our platform and processes in an efficient manner and articulating complex issues in an effortless way.

What are we ideally looking for in a successful candidate? 

• Minimum 2 years’ experience required.

• Strong attention to detail is essential to understand customer inquiries, seek clarification, and consistently provide complete and high-quality responses.

• Good organizational skills are needed to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and escalate issues when necessary.

• You should possess a natural curiosity, an optimistic attitude, and adaptability to change, showcasing strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Enjoy collaborating with different business units and thinking creatively to achieve positive client outcomes, while also being capable of working independently.

• Ability to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and maintain high-quality performance metrics.

• Previous experience in a fast-paced Client Service Centre or a high-service-level environment is preferred.

• Display a warm and friendly image and consistently maintain a positive demeanour when dealing with a diverse client base, including challenging personalities.

• Strong communication skills are required, both written and verbal, including telephone etiquette.

• Quickly acquire detailed knowledge of investments and procedures specific to your role.

• Prior experience within the finance industry is advantageous, and having RG146 or tertiary education is desirable.

As a Fund Administrator at FNZ, your primary responsibility will be to deliver top-notch fund administration and client services to both new and existing clients, advisers, and product owners using our exclusive administration platform. Your daily tasks will involve delivering services in a professional and efficient manner while adhering to established services and performance standards.

You'll be responsible for handling various core fund administration tasks, continuing to build your knowledge and experience across all facets of administration (money in, money out, maintenance and insurance).

This is a 6 Month Fixed-Term opportunity.

The responsibilities will include:  

• Fund Administration: Efficiently handle day-to-day admin tasks, including opening and maintaining client accounts, managing contributions and rollovers, handling pension commencements and payments, processing insurance premiums and benefits, and reviewing other administrators' work.

• Client Service: Address customer inquiries through web chat, email, phone, and mail, ensuring their satisfaction.

• Service Delivery: Manage your workload in a fast-paced environment, ensuring work items are completed within agreed Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.

• Working with Others: Collaborate with team members and other departments to promptly address customer queries and issues, serving as an escalation point and assisting the Senior Manager as needed.

• Training & Competency: Receive training in various disciplines with regular assessments to measure competency and output quality.

• Continuous Improvement: Seek opportunities to enhance our processes once you have a thorough understanding of our procedures and disciplines.

• Other Tasks: Handle additional projects or tasks as needed to support the company's smooth operation, as well as providing overflow support for our Customer Experience team when/if required.

What are we ideally looking for in a successful candidate? 

• Minimum 2 years fund administration experience.

• Time management and the ability to prioritise.

• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• The ability to solve problems and to autonomously investigate issues and potential solutions.

• Excellent computer literacy, particularly regarding the Microsoft Office suites.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Able handle high volume workloads and perform in demanding situations from time to time.

• ·The ability to adapt to change –as a result of both legislation and Company changes.

• A willingness to perform above and beyond the call of duty.

• Leading and coaching a team of Consultants 
• Overseeing the team's performance and quality 
• Exploring new opportunities and growth areas
• Mentoring and training junior staff members
• Providing advice and coaching on case management practices, whilst also managing a case load of your own.
• Identifying Return To Work barriers and, designing, implementing and monitoring those programs that assist injured employees return to the workforce as required.
