An additional new role due to growth within the region has become available for a Clinical Application Specialist – General Imaging | Ultrasound, NSW to join our high performing team where your clinical experience as a sonographer within General Imaging | Ultrasound and a customer centric approach will be highly valued.

Reporting to the Clinical Application Manager – General Imaging | Ultrasound, you will work with a broad spectrum of stakeholders and customers to play a pivotal role in the ongoing success of our Ultrasound business.

Your role:

Providing clinical support throughout the entire life cycle of the relationship with both new and existing customers, you will work in partnership with Account Managers to deliver pre-sale presentations and demonstrations on the Philips Ultrasound portfolio including advanced imaging techniques. You will play a pivotal role in maximizing customer satisfaction, and elevating the efficiency of patient care, through providing effective training around the optimal use of our equipment once delivered / installed and handed over by Philips.

 Other key responsibilities

• Promote Philips Healthcare solutions during customer visits, product demonstrations, seminars, and trade shows.

• Train customers in applying optimal usage of the equipment delivered enabling users to follow clinical procedures and protocols to achieve best practice.

• Train / re-train hospital staff in case of new releases, upgrade and / or versions (changes) in the operating procedures of the equipment

• Conduct regular visits to customers to obtain direct feedback from them about the quality of the training delivery and the customer satisfaction.

• Be aware and to manage at all times the quality and safety standards required by the company, including radiation protection, health and safety regulations.

• Supporting the business with input on configurations, working with the Account Manager, Clinical Applications Manager and Clinical Modality Sales Specialist to provide clinical feedback to assist in funnel management.

You're the right fit if:

• You have postgraduate studies in General Imaging | Ultrasound with ideally a minimum of 3 years in-depth clinical experience within a public and/or private medical imaging department.

• Experience with advanced imaging technologies, or imaging subspecialties is highly desirable.

• Previous experience in presentations and training or experience within a commercial environment will be highly regarded.

• Outstanding relationship building and communication skills with high levels of motivation, energy, and a drive to achieve results.

• The ability to travel across Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific as required.

As the Product Marketing Manager for Emergency Care, you will play a pivotal role in the overall growth of our business, working with new and existing customers across Australia & New Zealand and will thrive with the opportunity to drive brand positioning, growth and customer advocacy.

You are responsible for

• Analyzing the market, competition, technology and developments, in order to find new business opportunities with new product-market combinations aligned to the business strategy.

• Development and execution of the portfolio strategy for Emergency Care.

• Guide and drive the development of new products from the initial phase until the final product, in order to get the optimal combination of performance and price in time for the defined market segment.

• Prepare and plan, together with the sales channels, the market introduction of the new products, including promotion material and product information, in order to generate the largest impact in the market.

• To follow the business during the lifecycle of the product and to take corrective actions when needed, in order to generate the maximum profit contribution during the whole life cycle.

• Work with sales specialists and account managers where required to increase customer engagement and promote Philips patient monitoring.

• Conference and trade show management, in combination with the central marketing team

You will directly report to the Modality and Clinical Sales Manager and work closely with a team of passionate and enthusiastic Accounts Managers and Application Specialists and Channel Partners all playing a pivotal role in the ongoing success of our business.

More broadly, you will be working as part of the Philips team and have daily interactions with internal and external stakeholders across the business, allowing you to continue exercising your expertise whilst taking your customer focus and relationship building skills to the next level.

• Ideally a minimum of 3 -5 years marketing experience in the medical device industry (B2B and B2C)/ Life sciences or Pharmacology with a proven track record in improving brand and sales performance.

• Exceptional presentation and training skills

• Outstanding relationship building and communication skills.

• High levels of motivation, energy and a drive to achieve results.

• Degree qualified with strong clinical background (Cardiology experience desirable)
