About the Role:
The Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Department at Canberra Health Services (CHS) are seeking skilled Respiratory, Senior Respiratory and Sleep Scientists to join our progressive Allied Health team. We are looking to fill these roles with priority.

Health Professional Level 2 – Sleep Scientist Specific Information
This position will require subject matter expertise and the ability to work autonomously to conduct routine and assist in complex polysomnography, and positive airways pressure therapy management in accordance with procedures and published standards. You will also support the management of the service, being involved in the education and training for staff and students and requires participation in and contribution to continual professional development of the sleep scientist group. This position will be required to work a combination of day, evening and overnight shifts.
Health Professional Level 2 – Respiratory Scientist Specific Information
This role is ideal for Respiratory Scientists with 12 months or more experience. It offers exciting mentorship and learning and development opportunities to help support you to establish the skills and experience needed to apply for a Health Professional Level 3 role in the future.
Health Professional Level 3 - Senior Respiratory Scientist Specific Information
This role requires developed leadership skills, with the ability to manage, mentor and teach staff. It also involves coordinating quality management system requirements of the RPL service, and promoting continuous improvement of the respiratory scientist group. Applicants for this position need to demonstrate these qualities, along with 3 years or more experience.
