The Defence Service Homes (DSH) Insurance Scheme is a national scheme providing home building insurance to eligible veterans, war widows and Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel. The Scheme has some 50,000 building policies across Australia. DSH Insurance also has an authorised representative arrangement with QBE (Australia) to provide complementary personal insurance products for which the Scheme receives commissions 30,000 policyholders. The successful applicant will lead, supervise and develop the Finance and Accounting Team reporting to the Assistant Director. The Finance and Accounting Team is responsible for all facets related to the financial management of Defence Service Homes Insurance. This person will be responsible for providing technical financial and/or management accounting knowledge to support DSH Insurance in meeting these financial and management accounting requirements.
