• Work hours are 8.40am to 5pm (no weekends)
• Majority of the work is in the clinic
• 1/2 day home visits maybe once a fortnight
• Fully furnished accommodation (2-bedroom unit )is provided which is only a 5 min walk from the clinic
• If required May need to provide a service in a satellite clinic 20 mins from Launceston
• Work vehicle available for private use

As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for working with commercial and residential customers to keep their premises pest-free.

Duties

• Inspecting client premises thoroughly for any sign of pests
• Carrying out measures as required to eliminate the pests
• Identifying sales leads in the region where possible
• Building rapport with and communicating with clients regarding the eradication and prevention process
• Developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships

At Rentokil Initial, we take care of the training, but what we do need from you is:

• Current and valid Australian open/full driver's licence
• Eligible to work full-time in Australia 
• Availability for possible overnight stays in remote areas
• Interest in Pest Control or related industry experience

• Communicate to internal stakeholders and clients both orally and in writing
• Physically fit and the ability to work autonomously and drive long distances
