We are looking for a Graduate Product Owner to join our Symbio Connect team. Reporting to the Senior Product Owner, this role will be responsible for assisting Product Owners in gathering feature requests, scheduling releases and coordinating sprints. A Graduate Product Owner will work with Operations and Customer Experience teams are involved to ensure any products delivered address and enhance the customer experience.

What you'll do as a Graduate Product Owner:

• Creating and maintaining roadmaps
• Identifying related user stories and epics
• Building, reviewing, prioritising and maintaining the product backlog
• Work with cross-functional teams to manage product releases
• Manage the full product life cycle of products within the assigned product portfolio
• Coordinating the release of delivery events with other Product Owners
• Building and producing artefacts cross functionally for outcomes i.e. User Journeys
• Assisting Teams with Scrum ceremonies

The Accounts Officer is responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Reconciliation processes. This pivotal role encompasses ensuring prompt and precise payments to vendors, alongside managing the accounts receivable system to ensure timely debtor collections. Moreover, the Officer plays a vital role in conducting routine accounts reconciliations to uphold financial accuracy and prevent any financial losses.

Key Functions & Responsibilities

• End-to-end processes for accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliation.
• Ensure accurate processing and recording of transactions and cash movements.
• Handle tasks such as matching Purchase Orders, invoice allocations and coding.
• Reconcile creditor and debtor statements, resolving any invoice discrepancies.
• Perform bank and accounts reconciliations.
• Manage vendors and customer files, including handling credit applications and debt collections.
• Assist month-end closing procedures.
• Support audit activities as needed.
• Assist payments and receivables for cash flow management.
• Contribute to driving continuous improvement within the organization.
• Assist with other tasks as required.

What You'll Do

We currently have a full-time permanent opportunity for a passionate and experienced Learning & Development Trainer where you will have the opportunity to design, develop and deliver training for front line employees and managers across the NRMA portfolio of businesses.

In particular, you will create learner experiences that give our team members the knowledge and skills to deliver exceptional customer service and experiences for our members, customers and guests. Working closely as part of a Learning & Capability team, and key business stakeholders, you’ll conduct needs analysis, create and deliver training programs and initiatives across multiple modalities that align to business objectives and to the NRMA Playbook.

The role is based from our Sydney office.  We offer hybrid work arrangements with the flexibility to work from home and travel to all our sites with attendance at our Sydney (and Coolangatta office on an adhoc basis) as agreed and required for the role.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

• Partnering with the business and team members to design learning that meets learner needs, aligns to business objectives, and to our Playbook values
• Designing creative, effective and engaging learning materials and programs using a variety of platforms and tools
• Leveraging a blended learning approach that includes e-learning, virtual sessions, self-directed learning as well as face to face workshops, sessions and modules
• Assessing, evaluating and iterating to ensure the success of each initiative
• Facilitating and delivering training with consistency and quality – this will require travel for face to face training across a portfolio of sites and will also include virtual training
• Working collaboratively with stakeholders to identify core skill gap, key learner priorities and embed learning initiatives
• Participating in projects requiring learning support such as inductions and onboarding, systems, policy and procedural changes to ensure a great learner experience
• Working with functions such as HR and Safety to ensure training meets legislative requirements and best practices
• Flexing and adapting to changing needs across the organisation and the team, leaning in to assist where needed

What You'll Bring

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment with relevant tertiary qualifications
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role, with a background in the hospitality industry
• Excellent facilitation skills, both online and face to face, to frontline operations team
• Strong instructional design skills across a variety of platforms, video and tools including Articulate, Canva, Ed-App and Vyond
• An ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
• Curiosity – always looking for ways to improve to meet future needs
• Flexibility and ability to adapt
• The drive to take ownership and accountability for your portfolio/projects
• A passion for learning - seeking to continually develop your own knowledge and skills
