The Opportunity
BlueScope Distribution is looking for a Customer Service Officer to join the sales based in Mount Isa. BlueScope Distribution is a single-source provider of product, processing and service solutions in steel and aluminium product. The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification. BlueScope Distribution supports its customers by helping them find the freedom to do what they do best.
The role would see you working in our sales office, assisting our customers with their quotes on a day to day basis. Showcase your sales skills. dealing with customers on the phone, via email and providing high levels of customer service to our walk in customers.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity working Monday-Friday. What Will You Do?
Joining an inclusive and cohesive team, you will be provided full training to be competent in this role. You will:
- process and manage customer orders, quotes and enquiries face to face, online and over the phone
- follow-up on quotations and inquiries converting these into sales opportunities
- nurture and grow relationships with customers
