My Gateway has great Childcare Trainee opportunity with Wollondilly Shire Council. This is a great opportunity for trainees who are passionate about early childhood education and are looking to start their career in childcare. As part of the 18 month traineeship, you will complete a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care . Duties & Responsibilities:
Working with children aged 0-12 years old
Assisting with child observations
Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers.
Help children with hygiene duties including nappy changes, washing hands, etc.
Prepare food and general cleaning duties.
Arrange play based learning activities.
Prepare lesson plans.
Update parents about their children's progress.
The Preschool is operational for 42 weeks per year with non-operational periods amounting to 10 weeks per year (NSW School Holidays). During the School Holidays, School Holiday Care is operational and available
