Aviation Australia is looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an RPAS Instructor on a permanent, full-time basis. Reporting to the RPAS People and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the competent delivery, assessment and development of knowledge and skills training within the scope of Aviation Australia’s approval as a registered training organisation. This role will also be responsible for the delivery of AVI30419 Certificate III in Aviation Training to secondary school students and have a specific SME focus nominated by the RPAS People and Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be required to travel domestically on occasions and more during peak assessment periods (September - November).
Is this role for you?
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
A CASA Remote Pilot Licence.
A Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or a CASA Part 61 Flight Instructor Rating.
Certificate III in Aviation (Remote Pilot).
Hold or an ability to hold a Blue Card.
Remote Pilot or Commercial Pilot operational/instruction experience.
Excellent interpersonal and training skills, with strong written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to deal with sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality.
Effective facilitation skills for a range of learning styles.
Intermediate computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office suite of applications and the ability to become an effective user of new computer systems.
Ability and willingness to show flexibility in regards to days and hours of work. The role will require the applicant to travel interstate for short periods of time to deliver training.
