Support month-end processes, including general ledger reconciliations and BAS returns, ensuring timely compliance.
Conduct various general ledger and account reconciliations.
Ensure adherence to relevant legislation and accounting standards.
Assist in preparing monthly profit and loss statements and balance sheet reports.
Help gather and organise data needed for audits.
Contribute to annual audit activities.
Perform additional tasks as required by the company.
What you'll need to succeed
Advantageous to have completed Finance/Accounting qualification
Experience as an Assistant Account or similar role
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders
Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Effective time management and organisational skills
