About the role:

The Assistant Accountant supports the finance team in the financial management, control and operation of CDC Data Centres.

The role involves preparation, reconciliation, and analysis of accounting records. The role delivers value through timely provision of accurate and relevant information and analysis, thereby supporting CDC's decision making.

Other responsibilities include:

• Maintain the general ledger, fixed assets, and structure within the finance system, including preparing and posting general journals and managing ledgers up to consolidated financial statements.
• Complete month-end tasks and reconciliations, including balance sheet accounts for inter-company loans, prepayments, and fixed assets, and provide relevant reconciliations and analysis for Balance Sheet and P&L accounts.
• Analyse movements in Balance Sheet and P&L accounts and provide ad hoc reporting as needed.
• Oversee billing transactions to ensure accurate processing of customer invoices, monthly income in advance billings, sundry income, and subleases.
• Set up new customers, change orders, and other modifications in the system promptly, assisting in issue resolution.
• Reconcile group bank accounts daily, resolve reconciling items, and assist in the collections process for overdue debts.

About you: 

This role would be suitable for a candidate who has a Finance, Accounting or Commerce degree and commencing/working towards your CA/ CPA qualification.

• Previous working exposure within a financial reporting-based position.
• Possess strong organisational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

About the Role

Crown Equipment is currently seeking an individual to join the technology team based in our Mulgrave location as a Technology Solutions Advisor. If you are looking for a dynamic, engaging and customer centric role focused on industrial technology, this opportunity is for you. In your next role you will be solution orientated, advising customers on the best technology products for their application. 

The Technology Solutions Advisor will utilise telematics data to assist customers with the most appropriate technology products for their application. In this role, you will be solution orientated, joining our APAC team working with a variety of 3PL, retail, FMCG, pharmaceutical, grocery, manufacturing, production, and defence customers to provide unique offerings for their applications within Crown’s technology portfolio. You will work with a team including support, project management, and account management to bring these solutions to realisation.

Responsibilities & Duties Include

• Retain & develop existing technology products business through customer site visits.
• Communicate key data points for quarterly business reviews to local Crown Account Manager 
• Build relationships with customers, building trust to ensure a solid foundation for presenting data-based findings. 
• Attend customer sites and present the technology product range where necessary. 
• Work with the existing customer base to transition them to the most suitable technology product offering for their needs. 
• Attend product training sessions & maintain a high level of Crown product & industry knowledge. 
• Assist in the development and maintenance of technical documentation. 

Skills & Experience

• Intermediate computer skills, including intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
• Customer Service experience is desired
• Administration experience 
• Strong organisational skills
• Good time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be willing to travel up to 1 - 2 weeks per month for customer meetings as required from time to time

Key duties may include, but are not limited to: Functional Analyst (ERP FI) – EL1

• Corporate Systems team requires an experienced SAP FI Functional Analyst to support the design, analysis, build, testing and implementation of its projects.
• Responsible for overseeing the planning, detailed design, and delivery of quality solutions for SAP FI;
• Participate as a key member of the ICT development team to provide the functional deliverables for the project;
• Develop innovative and creative solutions based on interpretation and analysis of business requirements;
• Convert business requirements to system design and technical specifications;
• Engage, liaise and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Key Tasks:

The duties of the SAP FI Functional Analyst include (but are not limited to):

• Design, configure and build the SAP FI application;
• Document the application in Blueprints and Detailed Design Specifications;
• Perform ICT solution reviews for SAP FI solutions;
• Coach Services Australia resources to continue to build our expertise in the SAP FI environment;
• Perform unit testing of configuration and development changes utilising HPALM and provide technical support for SIT/UAT testing
• Participate in meetings and workshops with internal and external stakeholders
