Positions Available: Multiple Full-time Chef Roles
Salary: $73,000 – 74,000 plus superannuation
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaboratively plan and orchestrate the preparation and cooking of food.
• Engage in menu development, manage food and labour cost estimations, and oversee food supply orders.
• Uphold the highest standards for all dishes throughout the preparation and presentation stages.
• Liaise with management, dietitians, and service staff to discuss culinary processes and improvements.
• Demonstrate advanced cooking techniques and provide guidance on culinary procedures.
• Enforce strict hygiene and safety protocols within the kitchen.
Requirements:
• Appropriate qualifications such as Diploma, or equivalent relevant experience.
• A minimum of two years of full-time experience in a professional kitchen.
• Flexibility, leadership, and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
• Specialisations such as Chef de Partie, Commis Chef, Demi Chef, Second Chef, or Sous Chef will be regarded favourably.
