We are seeking an AS400 Developer for a permanent. As an AS400 Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining AS400 applications.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain AS400 applications based on business requirements.
- Design and implement new features and enhancements to existing applications.
- Perform unit testing to ensure code quality and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in AS400 applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Document technical specifications and code changes.
- Provide support and maintenance for production systems.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in AS400 development.
- Proficiency in RPG, CL, and DB2 on AS400 platform.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Experience in full software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Experience with AS400 modernization tools and techniques is a plus.
