What might your days look like
To make employment easier and more valuable for everyone, our marketing team needs to truly understand and empathise with both employers and employees.
Our Senior Insight Manager is like an advisor, coach and mentor to the marketing team. They are constantly feeding relevant information and helping us learn every day.
To really be heard, our PR and editorial program needs to be backed by a solid understanding of our customers. We currently do this by looking at the behavior of our users, and regularly surveying our audiences to dig deeper into any areas of interest.
The team will have access to live reporting that will show the impact their content is having on media coverage, leads, opportunities and ARR. They will be expected to have a solid understanding of campaign effectiveness and we will celebrate ARR, not quantity of content.
Responsibilities
- Develop a world class research and insights function for Employment Hero.
- Build a solid understanding of Small Business Owners, HR and Payroll Professionals across all of our international markets.
- Provide regular, rich quantitative and qualitative insights to drive our editorial and PR program and provide advice and support to other areas of the business such as the product, sales and customer experience teams.
- Build relationships and processes with our internal subject matter experts and the wider business.
- Lead a growing team of insights professionals and data scientists (currently one direct report but more to come).
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will be customer-obsessed, detail-oriented and comfortable working with a wide range of teams across a remote-first organisation.
- Proven agency or client-side qualitative and quantitative market research and insights experience (minimum 7 years) in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Willingness to take ownership.
- Motivated self-starter and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
