Be the front face of Elements of Byron as you welcome our guests on arrival. Ensure they have a memorable stay whilst at the resort, from the moment they arrive right through to departure. During your shift you may provide directions, answer enquiries drive our Buggy's and convey facilities information.

You are responsible for ensuring that we deliver the the highest level of guest service and that our customer service standards are met and maintained at all times.

To be successful in this role, you will be someone who prides themselves on their outstanding customer service, can remain cool under pressure and has a knowledge of our local area.

This is a full time, permanent position. We can not consider someone who is on a WHV for this role due to the 6 month working restriction.

Reporting to the Assistant Front Office Manager you will be responsible for ensuring we do not merely deliver service but do more than is expected to create authentic moments of hospitality.

You will be a confident driver as a large part of your role is driving our resort buggies, who will develop an excellent rapport with our guests, has high energy, loves face to face guest interaction and has exceptional attention to detail.

The hours: Full Time role available, 38hrs a week, across a 7-day rotating roster.

The shifts: 7am - 3pm and 3pm - 11pm

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of resort facilities and promotions
  • Role will involve physical lifting and movement of luggage and other items
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and ensure procedures are followed in relation to guest confidentiality
  • Experience working in a 4-5 star resort/hotel front office environment preferred
  • Full availability to work weekends and public holidays
  • Current full drivers licence essential
  • Display a professional image at all times through personal presentation and polished communication
  • Punctual, reliable and proactive
  • Full working rights on an ongoing basis within Australia is required for this role
