Job Description:

This role will see you develop and manage a vision for our products and features ensuring consistency with the road map and strategy.

We are looking for a team player with strong collaboration skills to help our team build quality products that meet the needs of current and future customers.

You will also communicate with customers and be a main point of contact both internally and externally for the product, its functions, and features.

Requirements

  • Experience working with School Management Systems, Learning Management Systems, Timetabling, or other Edtech solutions.
  • An understanding of how schools work and the problems they face.
  • We are looking for a team player with strong collaboration skills to help our team build quality products that meet the needs of current and future customers.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability develop good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively to maximize customer value delivery.
  • Ability to analyse complex problems and propose simple/smart and innovative solutions.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Technical solution knowledge an advantage.
  • Previous experience working in a Product Owner, Product Manager or Senior Business Analyst capacity, or in a school as a teacher, leader, or ICT manager.

About You

  • Accountable for the definition of the feature requirements to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Create customer facing, high level solution documentation and participate in customer workshops and guide the approach for meeting customer requirements.
  • Create and maintain feature tickets.
  • Working with Product Managers, Product Owners and Head of Customer Solutions to prioritise deliverables and assess and prioritise production defects.
  • Participate in release planning.
  • Complete post-development feature acceptance to confirm that the functionality meets customer and product requirements.
  • Participate in customer handover.
  • Review User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
  • Support internal teams with expertise and drive the sharing of knowledge.
  • Provide pre-sales support, including customer presentations and bid responses.
