Job Description:
This role will see you develop and manage a vision for our products and features ensuring consistency with the road map and strategy.
We are looking for a team player with strong collaboration skills to help our team build quality products that meet the needs of current and future customers.
You will also communicate with customers and be a main point of contact both internally and externally for the product, its functions, and features.
Requirements
- Experience working with School Management Systems, Learning Management Systems, Timetabling, or other Edtech solutions.
- An understanding of how schools work and the problems they face.
- We are looking for a team player with strong collaboration skills to help our team build quality products that meet the needs of current and future customers.
- Strong communication skills and the ability develop good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritise effectively to maximize customer value delivery.
- Ability to analyse complex problems and propose simple/smart and innovative solutions.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Technical solution knowledge an advantage.
- Previous experience working in a Product Owner, Product Manager or Senior Business Analyst capacity, or in a school as a teacher, leader, or ICT manager.
About You
- Accountable for the definition of the feature requirements to ensure customer needs are met.
- Create customer facing, high level solution documentation and participate in customer workshops and guide the approach for meeting customer requirements.
- Create and maintain feature tickets.
- Working with Product Managers, Product Owners and Head of Customer Solutions to prioritise deliverables and assess and prioritise production defects.
- Participate in release planning.
- Complete post-development feature acceptance to confirm that the functionality meets customer and product requirements.
- Participate in customer handover.
- Review User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
- Support internal teams with expertise and drive the sharing of knowledge.
- Provide pre-sales support, including customer presentations and bid responses.
