MoleMax is produced by Macquarie Medical Systems, the skin cancer technology arm of Australia largest independent Hospital Group, Macquarie Health Corporation. We are providing the tools to empower physicians and healthcare providers to improve screening and manage effective skin cancer treatment to improve patient outcomes.
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Marketing Specialist to join our team at Macquarie Medical Systems. As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing strategies to promote our innovative medical devices and solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and support the overall growth of the company.
What you’ll do:
• Develop and manage the marketing plan, budget, Google Ads and SEO for worldwide sales development of our medical devices.
• Develop high quality marketing and sales material, as well as ensure brand communication through enforcing brand guidelines and policy in conference, partnerships, promotions and creative collateral.
• Work closely with the product development team to understand product features and benefits, translating technical information into clear and persuasive messaging for different target audiences.
• Plan, attend and co-ordinate conferences, sponsorships, any educational seminars ensuring business objectives are met and delivered on time.
• Co-ordinate all digital marketing content (including monitoring our website and social media platforms) for the team - creating landing pages for events, product launches and other initiatives.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in medical device marketing to ensure compliance and effectiveness of marketing strategies.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of marketing campaigns.
• Analyse marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates) and sales trends (online & in conference) and develop customer specific strategies.
• Support sales teams with marketing materials, training, and resources to enable them to effectively promote and sell our medical devices.
• Collaborate with external vendors, agencies, and distributors to support marketing initiatives and campaigns as needed.
About you:
• You’ll have previous experience working in a marketing role, at least 2-3 years of experience is preferred.
• Creative mindset with the ability to deliver high-quality marketing collateral.
• Great problem-solving skills and comfortable working autonomously in a highly agile and dynamic environment.
• Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics.
• Have experience with Google Ads, Analytics and SEO for an e-commerce platform.
• Be willing to work approximately 10-12 weekends per year attending trade conferences to assist with the sales and promotion of our medical devices.
• Have experience with managing a CRM system for sales & marketing purposes.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive decision-making and optimize marketing performance.
• Previous work experience in the Health/Medical Technology industry, in marketing and/or face-to-face selling capacity.
• Experience with copywriting or design and desktop publishing programs (Adobe Suite), as well as Hubspot CRM.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or more than 3 years’ experience in a similar field.
Experience requirement: More than 3 years of Marketing experience in the Healthcare industry.
Salary of the position: AUD 85000 including Superannuation.
