A Day in the Life


As Sr. Clinical Specialist promotes defined products and clinical support to Certified Product Trainers (CPT) and Allied Health, In conjunction with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM), Clinical Specialist Manager (CSM) and Territory Manager (TM). The specialist undertake clinical activities that contribute to achieving FY AOP within the specified territory and region.

Using your strong interpersonal and collaboration skills you will work closely with the clinical specialist team in NSW to passionately promote and sell our products in the public sector to nurse educators and endocrinologists and to certified product trainers in the private sector both virtually and face to face. Successfully delivering against sales targets and strategy will require you to be commercially astute, resilient and self-driven. 'Hands on' patient contact and the ability to work on campaigns with fast paced technology make this role fulfilling as you get the opportunity to see how our devices change people lives.


Responsibilities:


• Strives to understand customer needs and provides credible alternatives that effect mutually beneficial
• outcomes for both the customer and Medtronic.
• Establishes and fosters relationships with key opinion leaders and other key customers.
• Provides comprehensive clinical and technical training for CPTs, Allied Health Professionals particularly
• CDEs, patients and their care givers.
• Focuses on effecting positive and life changing health outcomes for patients with diabetes.
• Ensures timely follow-up and prompt resolution to customer/patient technical and product issues, including
• after-hours support when needed.
• At all times communicates with customers and patients in a polite and professional manner.
• Supports the RSM, CSM and TM business development strategies and quarterly account plans
• Drives activities that promote the broader adoptions and acceptance of the Business Units Product Portfolio
• via workshops, PIEs and other educational activities.
• Supports the RSM and CSM with education programs targeting the product training needs of the State
• Diabetes Australia organisations.
• Supports the launch of new products in line with National Marketing/Launch plans.
• Actively supports the TM by reinforcing the current sales messages with customers at every opportunity.
• Supports the sales activities of the TM by ensuring the local availability of resources, like demo equipment

Must Haves
• Bachelors’ degree required
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and complete knowledge of company products and services
• Several jurisdictions across Australia have established mandatory requirements for healthcare workers and others working in health care settings to be vaccinated with at least two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine. To be eligible to apply and be considered for this role, Medtronic Australasia requires candidates to meet the conditions of the relevant and current Government directions (including Public Health Orders). The successful candidate will be required to provide evidence of vaccination before an appointment.
