We're looking for a Collections officer who'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of Shift customers, in an effort to collect overdue monies for early-stage commercial accounts.  You will work with your customers to negotiate an appropriate payment plan while building strong relationships. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Collections and be apart of a team of 

What you will be doing:

• You'll perform routine collections work on overdue monies through inbound & outbound calls
• You'll Negotiate with customers to determine a resolution of defaulted loans while maintaining accurate records & relevant information
• Investigate & research accounts prior to initiating debtor contact by examining data & evaluating past collection efforts
• Contributing to a collaborate team environment is something you will have the opportunity to do on a daily basis whilst providing assistance to Senior Collections Officers

• Work together within supportive team environment

As an Officer Data Administration, your core responsibility will be to enter, categorise and allocate safety, health and security incident reports submitted into the Qantas Group’s Safety System (Intelex) with a high level of accuracy and in accordance with service delivery standards.  Additionally, you will perform routine and ad-hoc data quality assurance activities, and provide support in the use of the system to our safety business partners.  This is an entry level role, ideal for someone looking to kick start their career in data or technology.

You’ll have –

• 1-3 years of experience within a similar role is preferred

• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and Office 365

• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong focus on service delivery

• Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with people at all levels of the organisation

• Experience in establishing close working relationships with peers, business partners and key stakeholders

• Demonstrated experience in the documentation of work plans and procedures desirable.

We have an opportunity for a suitably qualified Accounts Payable Officer to join our close-knit Corporate Finance team.

Based in our Parramatta office, this role is responsible for the processing and administration management of payment runs for our Corporate Finance team.

You will successfully achieve this by:   

• Ensure scheduled supplier invoices payments and employee expense claims are processed and approved accurately in line with the Corporate Finance operational calendar.
• Ensure refunds and adhoc transactions are processed in a timely manner and accurate manner.
• Monitoring of conjunction fees and ensuring external agencies are paid when due.
• Maintaining and performing daily bank reconciliations for accounts payable transactions.
• Understanding of GST and FBT implications of accounting transactions and review correctness of expense coding for account allocation, GST input tax credit and FBT charge.
• Ensure control outlines within Sarbanes Oxley Legislation are understood and executed.
• Partner with corporate finance team on audit / ad-hoc queries
• Involve in process and system improvement strategies or projects as directed by Finance team initiatives.
