About the Role:

The Senior Finance Analyst role is instrumental in the build-up of the Budget, Forecast and Plan as well as ensuring all month end, half year and full year accounting and financial reporting requirements are delivered on time with a high standard.

This role will report on financial performance and results, providing analysis on drivers of variances. They will also have a thorough understanding of the business unit(s) they support and they will assist with financial analysis to provoke change and improve the overall performance of the business unit(s).

What you’ll be doing: 

• Provide excellent support to key stakeholders, establishing and maintaining effective relationships, gaining their trust and respect

• Perform the build up and upload of Budget, Forecast and Plan

• Undertake all month end, half year and full year accounting and financial reporting requirements

• Analyse, interpret and correct anomalies across Gross Margin, OPEX and D&A as well as investigate and report on key variances

As our Billing Analyst, you’ll be:

About the Role:

Loam Bio is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our finance team. Reporting directly to the Head of Client Services, you will play a critical part in establishing, designing, configuring, and maintaining their global operating system, OneBill.  You will work cross functionally translating requirements into design, and ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure including billing, end to end order fulfilment, helpdesk, and support. Your responsibilities will involve but are not limited to:  

• Ensure accurate configuration of data and systems for automated, timely billing, receivables, and reconciliation. 
• Customise reports, notifications, and dashboards for stakeholders, providing insights to highlight key metrics (eg: forecasted revenue, aged debt, and more to trigger actions for informed decision-making.   
• Establish business rules for customer registration and maintenance, ensuring accurate billing for subscription changes and upgrades/downgrades. 
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to design end-to-end order fulfilment processes on OneBill.  
• Implement system workflows for Helpdesk operations, managing service requests, ticket allocation, and tracking for resolution. 
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design data interfaces and integration methods with other systems, enhancing information flow and accuracy. 
• Provide user support, training, and troubleshooting for system queries and technical issues. 
• Maintain corporate telephony system functionality, including call centre workflows and user group configuration for incident management. 
• Conduct data quality control measures to ensure accuracy and reliability.

We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Senior Financial Accountant to join our high performing Corporate Finance team.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a challenging and technically focussed role, responsible for producing accurate and timely financial reporting information for our Corporate Finance team. 

The scope of the role will include:

• Month-end close duties including balance sheet reconciliations and accruals
• Involved in Month-end reporting, manage journals postings and general ledger reconciliations
• Manage statutory requirements such as BAS returns, FBT, GST, Income Tax compliance and employment taxes
• Dealing with internal and external queries on all revenue related system matters
• Manage daily treasury positions of the company (forecast vs actual) and make recommendations on funding action
• Ensure control outlined within Sarbanes Oxley Legislation are understood and executed
• Partner with corporate finance team on audit / ad-hoc queries and assisting with financial statement preparation
• Involve in process and system improvement strategies or projects as directed by Finance team initiatives.
