We are seeking a Corporate Finance Senior Analyst, who will be responsible for providing high-quality analysis and insights, building and reviewing financial models, information gathering and processing, preparing presentations and project support to contribute to the delivery of strategic initiatives. 

To be successful in this role will require the ability to problem solve, to evaluate large amounts of data and information related to market conditions, to summarize strategy and scenarios in a power point or excel worksheets, to develop relationships, and to work collaboratively with stakeholders, both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support and conduct both qualitative and quantitative research;
• Design and build financial models to assist with business valuations, planning and scenario & sensitivities analysis to inform stakeholders of viable solutions and options;
• Establishing benchmarks and measuring projects against these benchmarks;
• In-depth financial due diligence;
• Preparation of reports, including due diligence reports and other internal documentation;
• Support the development of business cases;  
• Manage own time to deliver on and contribute to work priorities that support the delivery of various projects;
• Evaluate whether separate initiatives are aligned with centralised corporate strategy;
• Provide high quality, detailed objective analysis and advice within specified timeframes;
• Develop a knowledge of various workstreams and work flexibly across priorities as required to deliver key outcomes;
• Assist with development of financial forecasts and scenarios for various Viva Energy business units;
• Communicate effectively with key stakeholders to ensure outcomes are achieved through collaboration and are aligned with the business’ expected outcomes. Consult with management and suggest improvements based on analysis performed

As a Dispute Resolution Specialist, you will play a central role in how we consider and resolve complaints. You will: 

• Review complaints from consumers and small businesses that have not been resolved directly with the financial firm
• Work with consumers and financial firms to gather information and understand the core issues
• Apply a sound understanding of the AFCA complaint resolution criteria including relevant legal principles, applicable industry codes or guidance, good industry practice and previous AFCA decision to resolve financial complaints fairly and efficiently
• Utilise alternative dispute resolution methods to help parties resolves complaints by negotiation
• Investigate complaints that cannot be resolved by negotiation and produce preliminary assessments and draft decisions in Plain English.

Our Banking and Finance teams deal directly with consumers and financial firms to help resolve and investigate complaints. Dispute Resolution Specialists handle complaints with various issues including: 

• Disputed transactions including scams 
• Responsible lending
• Credit reporting
• Misleading and unconscionable conduct
• Financial hardship
• Credit reporting including default listings and Repayment History Information 
• Charges including interest and fees
• Privacy and confidentiality
• Disclosure and instructions.

You'll be responsible for: 

• Deliver best in class implementation of our Digital Media campaigns within the HX teams.

• Input into planning including provision of relevant data and recommendations around digital activity and tactics.

• Proactively source audience data to inform broader planning collaboration with the wider investment team.

• Assist in the development of insights for reporting, laddering up to the business and human outcomes.
