Why you will love this opportunity as Implementation Consultant (Finance) at Civica
As Implementation Consultant (Finance), you will provide professional services to our customers across Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and other international regions as needed. The primary focus of this role is to deliver consulting, training, and support services related to Civica’s School Manager software, particularly in the areas of financial management and billing. You will be working directly with our customers, come from a hands-on background with financial software solutions within educational environments and be offer expertise in implementing and optimising the solutions. This role will involve occasional travel to customer sites to deliver on-site services, and may need to be flexible in accommodating customer needs across the region.
You will assess and analyse existing and new customer processes to design tailored solutions and recommend enhancements that drive efficiency and effectiveness. By troubleshooting and resolving customer issues, you’ll contribute to improving operational workflows within schools. Gathering valuable feedback on software usage, you’ll identify opportunities for optimisation, helping to boost product adoption and customer satisfaction. You will assist with the resolution of escalated support tickets, ensuring prompt and effective outcomes, while maintaining thorough documentation to support seamless software utilisation.
You will work closely with other Civica teams to deliver on commercial objectives, all while upholding the highest standards of service delivery. Your efforts will play a key role in nurturing long-term, positive customer relationships and driving referrals.
What you will do to be successful in this role
- Consultancy experience with relevant educational experience, providing valuable advice to education organisations and customers
- Proven experience in school financial management and billing, with a strong understanding of how these processes function within school settings
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers at all levels, building relationships and trust
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently and clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Skilled in conducting investigative activities to assess current practices, with the expertise to reengineer them into more efficient processes aligned with Civica School Manager
- High level of written and verbal communication, including the ability to think quickly and problem-solve customer queries effectively
- Excellent time management, prioritisation, multi-tasking, and organisational skills, ensuring efficient delivery of services
- A strong sense of accountability, taking ownership of the delivery of professional services to ensure customer satisfaction
- Highly motivated, with a strong commitment to self-improvement, professional development, and customer satisfaction
- Independent, self-driven, and able to work well both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
