ROLE PURPOSE

The Digital Activation Executive is to ensure that clients’ investment delivers against their business objectives whilst also building strong relationships with them. They are also responsible for supporting, coaching and training the Coordinators and Executives in the team ensuring their outputs meet expectations.

The role will work closely with their Managers and Directors to ensure best in class Paid Search and Paid Social solutions are delivered to clients.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Campaign Implementation

• Full ownership of day-to-day workflow on the client. Engaging Manager/Directors when required, ensuring no basic errors and strong performance. This includes:
  • Reviewing and answering to client briefs. Ensuring smooth implementation and delivery of Google and Facebook campaigns.
  • Full accountability for the accuracy of implementation within your team, and ensuring campaigns deliver against client KPIs.
  • Full accountability for the accuracy of reporting, with the development of clear insights, ensuring the client has a clear knowledge of the impact of their investment on their business.

Client

• Works autonomously to meet client objectives & deliverables.
• Full accountability for ensuring we are in the best possible position to hit designated client’s business KPIs.
• Focused on building strong professional relationship with the client.
• Ownership of the client's roadmaps.
   

Team & Communication

• Excellent communication skills with close monitoring & escalation of issues in a timely manner.
• Managing Executives & Coordinators on a day to day basis - educates & motivates to help develop skills and responsibilities.
• Working closely with Managers and Directors to ensure quality control processes are adhered to.
• Sharing of knowledge, innovations and insights with the wider team.

Administration

• Full accountability for monthly invoicing ensuring no errors and timely completion.
• Reconciles budgets and amends any changes that may be required.
• Forecasts spend and revenue, flagging any potential over servicing/under servicing with Director.
   

YOUR SKILLS & WORK EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 2 years experience in a digital media role working on paid search and/or paid social channels.
• Excellent understanding and working knowledge of Search Engine and Social Media marketing, backed by relevant experience.
• Preferably a degree or higher education qualifications.
• Expert working knowledge of Australian media landscape.
• Expert across the following Office platforms: Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Excellent experience to analyse and manipulate data, extracting insights for reporting.

Reporting to Senior Director, Paid Media you will create impact within our Paid Search Team , within the Paid Media. We take pride in working with some of the biggest brands and as Google's global partner, we provide the right technology, strategy and training , setting us apart in the industry.

You'll contribute to our global Paid Media team consisting team members with expertise in all forms of Paid Media campaigns including Programmatic, Search, Social, Connected TV (CTV), Digital Out of Home (DOOH). At Jellyfish, we are committed to encouraging professional growth.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Provide support and collaborate with local and international teams
• Nurture positive, collaborative working relationships with clients, colleagues and third-party suppliers
• Oversee a portfolio of digital campaigns and provide guidance and recommendations to paid media practitioners to exceed client expectations and Indicators.
• Manage the production and Monitor them , presentation of client-facing reports, studies and presentations to Jellyfish brand standards
• Collaborate with Media Strategy and Client Management teams to lead solutions for our clients
• Achieve continuous improvement by assessing Jellyfish's working relationships, practices and methods
• Support our culture including following established ethical and brand standards
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of Jellyfish's marketplace and the digital landscape, with emphasis on all new formats, technical solutions, and projects.

THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Working with multiple stakeholders within agencies and market to ensure successful campaign delivery and client outcomes in APEX self-serve and monitored IO digital campaigns.

As a valued member of the team, the digital performance manager will work with the programmatic director and account managers to deliver and plan effective biddable campaigns.

KEY OUTPUTS

SELF SERVICE

· Deliver RTB buying strategies, optimization and strong reporting insights across APEX trading clients

· Generate finest outcomes for our clients bringing best practice and new innovative ideas to get to the goal

· Identify and effectively communicate the APEX trading desk proposition, tech, process and partnerships as they relay to the grown of current clients

MANAGED SERVICE

· Ensure briefs are clear and details from agency partners and effectively brief appropriate partners

· Own the digital media strategic and tactical recommendation outputs

· Generate the finest outcomes for clients delivering on APEX KPIs and business goals for the group 

CLIENT SERVICING/ MEDIA PARTNERSHIPS 

· Build relationships with key agency teams, you need to be a trusted partner

· Work with agencies to help provide brief acknowledgements for their clients assisting through the planning and buying process

· Build new media proposals, effectively communicating media strategies and rationale

· Assess the digital media landscape, building strong relationships with programmatic partners and tech to effectively communicate this to stakeholders

COMMERCIAL/ FINANCE

· Deliver on APEX targets via products and solutions to clients

· Assist GDD/PD with monthly reconciliations and owning the finance process as well as campaign forecasts in salesforce

· Ensure agencies remain compliance with paperwork and loading

OPERATIONAL

· For self-serve – ensure tight streamlined process is implemented for programmatic excellence including recommendations, monitoring and optimization

· For managed – follow streamlined process for briefing/proposals/ invoicing & billing

IDEAL EXPERIENCE

•        Min 3 years' experience in programmatic media trading

•        Preferred client facing experience

•        Strong knowledge and working knowledge of Australian media and programmatic landscape

•        Experience across DSPs: DV360, TTD, Yahoo

•        Preferred experience in DOOH and Audio programmatic media buying
