Our Service Centre is the nerve- centre of the TOMRA Collections operations. Our Operators monitor our collection points and systems across Australia while also providing quality support and service to our business partners, customers, technicians and field service teams.   

We work in a team-based environment with plenty of support available during your training period and beyond. This role will suit applicants who thrive in a busy, fun team.  

You will be located in the TOMRA Sydney office in St Leonards and will work on a shift-based roster. This is a casual role in a business that operates 7 days a week. Our Service Centre is operational between the hours of 7:00am - 10:00pm daily. 

The base hourly rate for Adults is $28.69 excluding loading and penalties.  

What you’ll be doing: 

• Provide hotline technical support to partners and colleagues in the field 
• Assist with customer queries and complaints 
• Monitor systems and run diagnostics via a web-based portal 
• Interact with technicians, colleagues and partners visiting sites 
• Analyse anomalies and take corrective actions 
• Perform configurations and changes to the machines remotely online 
• Coordinate onsite maintenance and repairs

Who we’re looking for:

In this role, you will use your technical knowledge to assist staff with level 1 IT support tasks.

You will be responsible for answering incoming calls from across the business and will triage and resolve basic IT tickets submitted through the company’s service desk portal.

Customer satisfaction will be your top priority! You will report to the Technical Support Team Leader and join an energetic team of Service Desk Analysts/Technical Support Engineers.

• Qualification in IT is preferred.

• Implement and maintain the Company’s Quality System for Customer Service procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to the Customer Service team, ensuring adherence to office procedures.
• Assist Technical Representatives with customer inquiries, reports, samples, and orders.
• Address customer account queries promptly and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage accounting records and ensure compliance with statutory and audit requirements.
• Utilize the ERP system for customer and project pricing, product information, and order management.

• Assist customers with pricing enquiries, stock availability, forecasting and forward orders.
• Liaise with freight providers for delivery status on orders and proof of delivery (POD’s).
• Liaise with Branch Logistics regarding Colour Tinting and Pigments.
• Liaise with Branch Logistics for Stock Replenishment, Branch to Branches and Manufacturing.
• Liaise with Branch Logistics and Customers to process Back Orders and non-collected orders.
• Monitor Back Order Lines and Open Sales Order Lines daily.
• Attend to Counter Sales (direct customers only) promptly.
• Process all orders prior to cut off time.
• Co-ordinate admixture deliveries, as per schedule.
