12th February, 2024 The Role - Assistant Service DirectorThe Assistant Service Director is essential in the success of the day-to-day management of a large Early Childhood Service. This is a unique opportunity as this position supports both the educational and management teams. The role serves as a stepping stone for future career growth, with opportunities to advance as the company grows. Orchard Early Learning Centres has a further 10 centres in the pipeline across Sydney. Our philosophies are centred around Sustainability – Paddock to Plate – RIE & Adventurous Play While you'll be hands-on across all the rooms, you'll also have dedicated non-contact time to assist with mentoring, coaching and administrative duties. Your day will involve: - Working with and alongside 2 Service Directors to manage the daily responsibilities of running and maintaining a large service- Supported by our administrative assistant team- Be an advocate for best practices for children- Motivating, supporting and working in partnership with the team- Deliver a best practice educaring approach to educational programs for children- Having a thorough knowledge of and experience with implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safety Standards- Assist with conducting parent and new staff tours- Assist with roster and day-to-day management of staff- Developing and maintaining relationships with families and members of the community to maintain/increase the centre's occupancy- Involved in inspiring the team through educational leadership- This role will have 2 days of non-contact day Orchard Early Learning Centre Kirrawee offers a fresh approach to early learning, drawing on the natural environment to…
