You will be responsible for providing strong leadership vision and direction, and highly effective operational management of the clinical services at Epworth Geelong. As a member of the Epworth Geelong's Executive Team, you will be instrumental in setting the operational direction for the site with executive colleagues and required to liaise with other Epworth HealthCare hospitals in relation to issues of site and clinical governance, risk management, business development and business continuity.

Reporting to the Executive General Manager, the role is also professionally accountable to the group Executive Director of Clinical Services to assist in implementing the group-wide strategic nursing and related clinical initiatives.

• Articulating, communicating and implementing Epworth’s clinical standards and engaging the workforce in achieving the best possible clinical outcomes
• Ensuring all staff have a primary focus on excellence in customer service and high quality and safe patient care at all times
• Reviewing nursing, midwifery and clinical education programs to ensure alignment with operational requirements
• Leading, developing and implementing nursing and clinical recruitment, retention and workforce plans to meet current and future needs
• Achieving fiscal and operational KPI’s for relevant cost centre
• Driving key organisational initiatives and goals to improve the outcome for patients, doctors and staff of the hospital

This role involves monitoring three sites in Melbourne, one in Adelaide, and two in Perth, with a total of 35 subjects enrolled.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and coordinate all aspects of the clinical monitoring process, ensuring compliance with GCPs and ARG's global SOPs.

What we can offer

Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW 7 range $96,669 - $104,731 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $113,103 - $122,535 per annum.
